Cong for Kerry

Nightline interview at VC village where Kerry got his questionable Silver Star.

VC display extraordinary memory of a 35 year old event, that mysteroiusly coincides with third version of Kerrys SS citation.

TOPICS: News/Current Events
KEYWORDS: antihero; commiesforkerry; cong; kerry; lurch; nam; nightline; traitor; tshirt; viet; vietnam

This might explain the extraordinary memories of the Viet Cong peasants that Ted Koppel had on his show.

Koppel hounded John O'Neill with the (paraphrased) question:

Why would people a half a world away, who don't even know John Kerry, and certainly don't care about the US election, tell ABC a lie?

"Why would people a half a world away, who don't even know John Kerry, and certainly don't care about the US election, tell ABC a lie?"

Because there is a Government minder nearby or CBS would not be talking to these people. They are not going to admit they fired a few shots at the Swift Boats and then hid in bunkers while the area recieved fire instead of fighting like fanatics the VC enforcers(now the Vietnam Government) required.

Their story was conveniently the same as Kerry's third version.

How corrupt is ABC?

Halperin Memo Dated Friday October 8, 2004

"It goes without saying that the stakes are getting very high
for the country and the campaigns - and our responsibilities become quite grave
I do not want to set off (sp?) and endless colloquy that none of us have time for today
- nor do I want to stifle one.
Please respond if you feel you can advance the discussion.
The New York Times (Nagourney/Stevenson) and Howard Fineman
on the web both make the same point today: the current Bush attacks
on Kerry involve distortions and taking things out of context in a way
that goes beyond what Kerry has done.
Kerry distorts, takes out of context, and mistakes all the time, but these are not central to his (ed. ABC-supported) efforts to win.
We have a responsibility to hold both sides accountable to the public interest,
but that doesn't mean we reflexively and artificially hold both sides
"equally" accountable when the facts don't warrant that.
I'm sure many of you have this week felt the stepped up Bush efforts
to complain about our coverage.
This is all part of their efforts to get away with as
much as possible with the stepped up, renewed efforts
to win the election by destroying Senator Kerry at least partly through distortions.

It's up to Kerry to defend himself, of course.
But as one of the few news organizations with the skill and strength to help voters evaluate what the
candidates are saying to serve the public interest.
Now is the time for all of us to step up and do that right. "

And who is Halperin?

BREAKING:
Halperin's father is none other than Morton H. Halperin,
head of George Soros' Open Society Policy Center.

Exactly...that is the AO my unit worked on foot...and that is exactly how the VC operated
and how the NVA (Kerry's business partners) lord it over even former VC in the south.

They lie to keep their minders off their backs and out of their lives hoping soon this will all go away so they can get back to their simple lives...as once again the do nothing lazy leeches belonging to the Communist Party and their friends in the American patrician class interfere with ordinary folks and their ordinary lives....much like the bass turds do here...

Koppel goes all the way to Vietnam to fake another story....if he REALLY wanted 'the truth' all he has to do is ask Kerry to SIGN THE ONE EIGHT ZERO

Of course being a MSM member Kopple isn't here to uncover let alone tell the truth...his job is to prepare a plate of absolute garbage to spoon feed the American people...to pee down their backs and tell them it's raining

No doubt a few dollars changed hands as well....as bribing commie party officials is still how things get done...(one of the platoon ssgts in my company is married to a former VC in that same AO and visits over there regularly...and has reported as such...his in laws and the villagers we used to be around were all VC and have given him many many hours of how things looked from their side of the fence...things the American commies will NEVER allow to be told just like their little brothers in the former RVN - a democracy before Cronkite and Kerry got through with them)

Cronkite Kerry Fonda Rather now Koppel destroyed a free nation putting it under the yoke of communism...they celebrate this...and this same destruction is what they wish for America..

IMO

I just put up a thread asking for a transcript of the Nightline show with O'Neill. If my memory is correct the Vietcong contradicted the Swiftvet's description of the fellow killed by Kerry, that he was an adult rather than a teenager and he was fully dressed rather than in a loin cloth. If my memory is correct then something is fishy.

I just read the "Epilogue" to "Unfit for Command" (emailed to me via Regnery via Human Events). On page 17 Rood, the Chicago editor that came forth to defend Kerry, gave the description as "a grown man, dressed in the kind of garb the VC usually wore" Not a teenager in a loin cloth.

This plus the info Nightline shared regarding someone ?a swift vet? had already traveled to Vietnam asking questions and disparaging Kerry. Sounds too pat, too coincidental.

Kerry is their "hero". If anyone traveled to Vietnam it seems more plausible it was Kerry's group to set up the Nightline story.

Is this memo real? I can't believe they would actually put their true opinion in writing like that.
