Support Sinclair (by using the libs tools/bandwidth)
http://grassrootsnation.com/sinclair/ ^

Posted on 10/16/2004 7:20:22 AM PDT by Dustoff

With one click (and replacing the text of a auto-generated email) you can send a support email to all of the Sinclair advertisers.

This site http://grassrootsnation.com/sinclair/ was set up to protest Sinclair...but you can replace the libs email text with a simple "keep up the good work" and send a message of support.

Plus, you get the warm and fuzz feeling by using the libs "grassroots" efforts and tools.

be sure to choose the right drop down box

the best choice was:

'Sinclair Advertisers Take Notice'

the others were threatening and negative.

who knows, it might even be the money that Teresa saved on her taxes, that donated the funds for that anti-Bush group!! (Tides Foundation)

we can only hope, as we use their resources...

I chose the partisan one and commented that no one should deny a serviceman the right to speak his mind after he risked his life to preserve freedom of speech, just because of partisan politics.

Here in Cincinnati, LaRosas Pizza (a Cincinnati Landmark and dining tradition) has pulled advertising from WB64 (the local Sinclair affiliate) over the "Stolen Valor" documentary.

I sent them some serious grief via e-mail. I also asked if they planned on pulling advertising from the local ABC affiliate (WCPO 9) for airing a political puff piece of John Kerry - WAR HERO.

The caved into the leftist pressure. They get no more of my money.

How can we be sure that Sinclair gets our message. I don't know much about computers but couldn't there be a program that converts any changes made to the text back to the original text without our knowing it? If that is the case, then the freako censor mongers get a double whammy.

I changed a few words and dumped most of the letter and sent this to the advertisers.

Because you are an advertiser on affiliates owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, I am sending you this email to ask that you to support and buy advertising time from any television station that runs the movie "Stolen Honor," a documentary about John Kerry and his Vietnam War experience, is the perfect example of broadcasting the facts. It has been announced that Sinclair Broadcast Group is forcing its affiliate stations to preempt regularly scheduled programs to air the truth Kerry just days before the election (as is their choice). In the eyes of millions of Americans who want their public airwaves used responsibly, this behavior is just plain fair.

Remember we owe it to the brave men who fought in that unpopular war and those who suffered as a result of Mr. Kerry's attacks on their honor.

Don't do that, they're not actually gonna read them.

Put something short and sweet like "Keep combatting that pig Michael Moore-on" or something like that.

Which reminds me, I wonder if the king slob is gonna have a massive coronary after W rolls to V.

Indeed...that was fun!

Sinclar is to be commended. John Kerry receives all the equal time he needs (on a daily basis) with pro-Kerry communication organizations such as the NT Times, Washington Post, ABC, CBS, and NBC. Past comments from executives, as well as recent scandals within these organizations, clearly show this. But even with that, Sinclar is to be commended for offering John Kerry an equal time interview on their stations which will air the documentary detailing his post war activates. I will gladly consider purchasing products offered by advertisers on this network.

Cool. My email...

Can't wait to see Stolen Honor on Sinclair TV stations. I will be alerteing all my friends to watch, and your TV audience will be HUGE!!!

I imagine your product or service will be exposed to many more consumers because of this windfall. Thanks for hanging in with free speech and Sinclair's right to broadcast.

The mainstream media has chosen NOT to make Kerry's history public for obvious reasons, and for voters to be informed, they should not be kept in the dark.

You have my support for your commitment to free speech in this country. Thank you from an american.
