Exactly along the border and the imaginary line connecting both capitals.
This was the strongest earthquake not under the ocean floor registered in the last 5 days.

Today the last 5 churches were destroyed in Baghdad.
The Assyrian Church, known officially as the Assyrian Church of the East, is the oldest continually existing church in the world. Assyrians are the only people in the world who still speak Aramaic, the language spoken by Christ.

Is there another source for this that shows it more clearly? Also, do you have the source about the last 5 churches?

re: "Today the last 5 churches were destroyed in Baghdad"
When I was growing up in a small, very small, central Florida town in the early 50's it was commonly accepted knowledge that if you are were attacked your only hope of winning was to respond quickly and more powerfully using the same tactic(s). If an enemy employs a tactic it's because he believes it to be effective. Let's say a tribe of blacksmiths attacks a tribe of grape stompers. If the grape stompers try to fight the war on the terms they understand they'll cut the legs off the blacksmiths. But if they want to win as quickly as possible they'll go for their arms and hands. The lesson is if your enemy attacks your churches then go for his churches at a ratio of 10 to 1. Anything less is just going to prolong the war and cost more for both sides. Show me a single conflict in history that has not adhered to this principle! There are instances where the most humane approach requires what would normally be considered inhumane tactics. The aggressor sets the terms of a conflict.

The Master of the Universe is in control of world events. He gives us warnings from time to time to wake everyone up. Righteous leadership and guidance must be sought out. The next few weeks and months are crucial times...

Notice how Reuters is misleading the readers with :
apparently meant to intimidate Iraq's small but deep-rooted Christian community
Reality : According to figures from the previous regime, there were 2.5 million Assyrian Christians in the country with an estimated 3.5 million outside the country for a worldwide total of as many as 6 million.

It doesn't seem that God was that happy with the Christian churches being destroyed. The earthquake is a warning. Do you believe that Revelation's Babylon is in Iraq or elsewhere?

My post was quite clear in its content.

The line doesn't look like it connects Baghdad with Tehran.

In the map of the link (about 20 miles north of Tursaq) it is in that line.

for a worldwide total of as many as 6 million.By comparison, The Episcopal Church in the United States of America presently has just over 1 million members.
To: Truth666
Okay, maybe I'm just being overly picky. With the map from the seismology place, it's a little south of that line. Maybe the seismology place put their star in the wrong place.

And Southern Baptists have 15 million. Of course, we can't find half of those members :o)

Each seismologic station calculates a different epicenter, so nobody can tell where it was really.
