The democrats can't use this very well to energize their base, though, so they go with the unproven so-called "findings" of Mary Berry's commission, and play on the voters fears of what "could" happen. Much like the stories about the little black kids saying that their parents said that President Bush would bring back slavery! (????)
They also can't say that every recount favored President Bush, either, so they have to keep cackling about DIS-IN-FRAN-CHISE-MENT!
My sincere hope is that this election is so overwhelmingly a landslide for Bush that the dems can't use these tactics again.

What Edwards has is the democrat record of disenfranchising thousands of military votes. But .. since the dems don't support the military, I guess those votes don't count.
What Edwards has done is expose the democrats. This is the oft used "projection" technique which the dems like to use. What they still have not figured out is - we know their protestations are really CONFESSIONS of their own criminal activity.

As a "trick" I would imagine sending a few professional pickpockets to RATs rally. Almost like in a comedy movie, I envision Edwards himself having his wallet (with all IDs) "removed", and then immediately accused of being an impostor and roughed up...
