I'm sure the DMN will be back to bashing Bush soon enough.Apparently, if I understood TexasCowboy right, they did not
endorse Bush at the Houston Comical.
The voting machines should be the same ones that would or will be used on election day..... so if you use paper ballots in the county then you'll have paper ballots... If it's some other type then that is what it's supposed to be.....
We still use the punch card system..... However by 2006 HAVA has mandated computerized equipment if I remember correctly.
Even the Austin UnAmerican UnStatesmanlike paper, the most Liberal in the State of Texas, endorsed President Bush in 2000. Even Travis County went for Bush in 2000, one of the most liberal/leftist counties in Texas.
Question....... where on that linked page is the listing of Papers that have endorsed the President? I'd like to see the Houston Chronical listing as in Today's paper they list endorsements but the Presidential race isn't one of them that I saw.
DMN endorsed Eddie Bernice Johnson last week, because her only opposition is a libertarian. "We, the DMN, endorse Beelzebub Hisownself, because his only opposition espouses radical reduction of government."
Okay, then. I expect I'll be using the paper ballots where you fill in the oval for your vote. When I voted in Garland, I could elect the "straght ticket" option on the computer and I was in and out in a flash. I guess the paper ballot will take me and extra 2 minutes, haha!
Thanks. :^D
No "Chad hanging prone / Dysfunctional" bodies in this household .....
what county are you in up there?
what county are you in up there?I'm in Dallas County. In early voting, I have been having to go to Garland since my little community just east of there didn't participate in the early voting.
THIS go around, they will, per the Dallas Morning News and my phone call to city hall and they confirm they will.
In early voting, you can go to ANY polling place in the county that is open for early voting. THIS go around, my local voting place WILL BE OPEN for business. This is the first time they have been.
OMG. Unfreakinbelievable.

You have lots of choices to choose from..... We only have a few in our county but then we don't have the population of a Dallas County.
Hey I was up in Garland yesterday morning at LBJ and Jupiter picking up a vehicle...
I am unable to comprehend why they would after the way they've been treating him. I don't read it anymore
Oh, yeah. I have LOTS of places to choose from. Garland is 4 miles from my house, and my local place is 1 mile.Hey I was up in Garland yesterday morning at LBJ and Jupiter picking up a vehicle...
That's only about a 20 minute drive from my place. :^D
I dumped them last year and feel much better for it!
Ronery....I just got back from watching Team America...still chuckling...LOL
Don't forget the possibility that a Freeper may regularly stay in contact with the Dallas Morning News.... Some might call it the "Adopt-a-Paper" strategy.;-0
bttt
This suprised me!
I can't believe this came from Belo Inc. Maybe there is some hope!!
,
