Kerry's bribed Coalition
NY Post ^ | Oct,17 2004 | Jim Ahlfeld Larchmont

October 17, 2004 -- THE ISSUE: The Iraq war and corruption in the U.N. Oil-for-Food program. The Post's commentary on the Oil-for-Food program was an eye-opener ("John Kerry's 'Allies' — Bought and Paid For," Editorial, Oct. 8).

It is crystal clear why the French did not want us in Iraq.

Jacques Chirac and his cronies were lining their pockets with cash skimmed off the U.N.-sponsored program.

One wonders what the world would look like today had President Bush left Saddam alone and in power.

I now know we did the right thing by invading Iraq and driving this madman from power — no thanks to our "friends" in France and the United Nations.

The title should be
KERRY'S BRIBED COALITION.

A slight difference here in meaning.
Personally, I don't think Mama T would up John's allowance enough for him to bribe the coalition...

Wow! So few words but yet so powerful.

I can't wait until tomorrow evening to see this on SeeBS News with Dan Rather. (Sarc.)

I wonder how eager our current allies in Iraq are to work with John Kerry if (God forbid) becomes the President? I doubt they can be too anxious to work with him after being called "Window Dressing" and the "Coalition of the Bribed and Coerced".

I would imagine that Australia would pull their troops, along with Italy and Poland if Kerry wins, forcing Kerry to either push for a draft or pull out of Iraq. If history is any example of what Kerry would do, he would opt to bug out.

Ahhhh! Now I get it! The "Global Test" the U.S. must pass in its foreign policy is graded in dollars and cents.

No one will pull out. I suspect they might consider committing more, to make sure that nothing Kerry does upsets the progress.

Kerry is inept at foreign policy. He's proven to be so for decades. He doesn't understand our friends, our so-called allies, and the motivations of the leaders of nations.

Not everyone in the world is a globalist like John Kerry. In fact, globalists don't hold power because leaders of nations aren't supposed to represent the world. They're supposed to represent their nations.

For 20 years Kerry has been masquerading as the Senator of Massachusetts. What he has been is the Senator of the World's liberals, in our Congress.

I think that is heresy. We don't need global citizens in our government. We need Americans!
