if anybody is waging a war against women, i'd look at the guy who divorced his wife whilst she was recovering from severe depression, had the marriage anulled, and made his two daughters instant bastards.

I agree with youabout his leaving his first wife.
But I really wish everyone would stop this nonsense about making the daughters bastards......that is patently false. The annulment of a parents' marriage has no bearing about the status in the Church of the children of that marriage.
