....so your going to give all the id card checkers in airports a device that can check the authenticity of these cards and build a network to run the results through a national data base...the putzes that govt hired to check passengers can barely read much less operate sophisticated equipment,,,the the bad guys will just devise ways to bypass the whole thing anyway.... no idea for any digitally based ID card will accomplish any increase in security given a determined enemy..
