Yeah yeah, we heard ince or twice an hour for the past 15 years that alcohol and tobacco are bad for our unborn babies...that must be why the Democrats are now paying voter fraudsters in crack cocain.
Seriously, I'm sick of all the bogus crisis hype every day. Neither of my daughters nor their spouses are drinkers, yet one daughter had a miscarriage last year, and both daughters have given birth prematurely...fortunately, their babies are still alive, though one is still in a NICU.
I will pray for those babies.
I would venture to say that most of us over 40 had a parent or both who either smoked or drank (or both) and the vast majority are one the worse for it.
I had three miscarriages. I don't drink much, and completely stopped when I started trying to have kids.
My husband drinks occasionally one or 2 glasses of beer.
I was over 30 and then my progesterone levels were very low. As soon as I started taking progresterone after I ovulated, I had two successful pregnancies (one resulted in identical twins).
Usually, doctors don't test hormone levels until after a 2nd miscarriage. Did they check these women beforehand to determine what was going on or did they just give them a questionaire?
