Bill Kristol took Juan Williams to the woodshed on Fox's Sunday morning show. Britt Hume was mearly an enterained guest during that particular asswhipping.

I sure hope Juan wears Depends, because lately he has been making a habit out of filling his pants to cover for sKerry.

Excellent article from Mr. Kristol!

Yo! MaryBeth Cahill! If it is Politically acceptable to use Mary Cheney in debate about same sex marriage. Then it is acceptable to Use Ted Kennedy as a reason for the death sentence.

Shall I refresh you memory Mary? Does Mary Jo Kopechne ring a bell?

At least Kristol talks about the issue itself. He also nails the real motive behind the dirty deed: to avoid talking about their own hypocrisy on the issue of homosexual marriage. Frankly, the question was framed for cover.

The Democrats are terrified of a debate on same-sex marriage, and used Mary Cheney to try to brush back the Bush-Cheney ticket from forcing a real policy debate.

That is the bigger issue.

Also, this line was hilarious: WAS JOHN KERRY born a shameless and ruthless opportunist, or did he choose to become one? In a way, who cares? Who knows how John Kerry became who he is?

All I was trying to do is point out that it--let their daughter speak.

Let Kerry's dughter, Vanessa, speak about choices we make in our lives.

Someone ask Vanessa Kerry if she wishes she had been an embryo recently, so her father could have funded her destruction in a lab, so his friend Christopher Reeve could have walked.

Does he really think they will believe that he singled out Mary Cheney because he "was trying to say something positive about the way strong families deal with this issue?

A true Clintonian excuse, if there ever was one.

I don't always like Kristol, but he hit this one out of the park.

"Leave aside the fact that Kerry's alleged opposition to same-sex marriage is manifestly dishonest and cowardly."

This is a point that hasn't been made often enough. Here at FR we all know that a President John Kerry would do nothing to oppose gay marriage, would appoint judges who would declare it a constitutional right, etc. The Democratic base is solidly behind gay marriage, and any contrary impressions are mere pretense until the election is over. The same goes for stem cell research: during the second debate, Kerry pretended to "respect" the beliefs and values of the woman who asked the question about stem cell research. But here in WA, EVERY Dem ad is using stem cell research as a wedge issue to portray Republicans as extremists. If that's "respect," give me an honest enemy.

Actually what Kerry did was more Clintonesque than from Sen Joe...

Too bad Kerry isn't more like Sen. Joe McCarthy....:)
