Bush Says Kerry Has 'Pre-Sept. 11' World View

MARLTON, N.J. -- President George W. Bush on Monday accused his Democratic opponent of having a dangerous, pre-Sept. 11 view of the world.

Bush said John Kerry's approach to terrorism allows for a response "only after" America gets hit, calling that "no way to protect our country."

The president was delivering an address on terrorism and homeland security in New Jersey, a state that lost nearly 700 residents to the Sept. 11 attacks.

Bush also pointed to the Clinton administration's terrorism policy, which he said sent a signal that America was weak and vulnerable to attack.

Kerry wants to return to those days when terrorism was seen as "only a nuisance," Bush said.

Earlier in the day, Kerry John Kerry on Monday accused Bush of sending Americans to war Iraq without the necessary equipment and accused the commander in chief of "arrogant boasting that he's done everything right in Iraq."

In his comments, the Democratic nominee for president referred to a Washington Post report that the top U.S. commander in Iraq warned last winter that his supplies were dangerously low.

Kerry told a rally in Florida that even though the president said he hasn't made any mistakes, "the truth is beginning to catch up with him."

He charged the president's tough talk "is nothing more than empty rhetoric."

Kerry also urged people at the morning rally to take advantage of Florida's early voting program, which allows Floridians to vote as early as Monday.

If Kerry should happen to win, we will face an increased probability of terrorist attacks here in the US.

Kerry is Osama’s man, Bush is mine.

I don't think Kerry ever made it out of the 70's. He now inhabits Crazyland.

My favorite quote was when Bush quoted Kerry after being asked "How have you changed after 9-11", Kerry's response, "I haven't".

Tells alot about Mr Kerry and his putrid view of the world.

This must be why we haven't been attacked since 9/11, huh?

Sheesh, what a maroon.

The President should come back with talk is cheap, action counts.Kerry has no action in his 20 years in the senate.Actions speak louder than words ,Kerry's 20 year record in the Senate is silent!

Bush sure looks terrific in that photo. The fact that he radiates confidence during times of trouble is a positive characteristic Reagan had, too.

Who wants a President who has to inject botulism into his skin in order to look halfway alive? Kerry looks like those tree creatures in Lord of the Rings, you know, the Ents.

Huge, enthusiastic crowds cheering President Bush as he takes his upbeat message to a "Battleground State"!

New Jersey! A few days ago, Oregon. Where is Kerry.
Today in Broward County, Florida....Hahahahhaha

Candidates are shoring up their supporters. What does the iternary tell us?

Bush in 2004!
