Wide Open Spaces
Released January 1998
12 X Platinum (12,000,000+ copies sold)
Billboad Peak: #4 (this is overall, not just the country chart)

Fly
Released September 1999
10 X Platinum (10,000,000+ copies sold)
Billboard Peak #1 (for 2 weeks)

Home
Released August 2002
6 X Platinum (6,000,000+ copies sold)
Billboard Peak #1 (for 4 weeks)

January 2003 - Top of the World Live concert tickets go on sale in 66 North American cities, are sold out very quickly.

March 2003 - Natalie shoots off her mouth in England and alienates most kind, warm-hearted country music fans.

April 2003 - It is announced that there will be NO refunds for Dixie Chick concert tickets.

Late 2003 - Moonbat liberals and Dixie Chicks point to the sold out concerts played after Natalie's stupid remarks as proof that their fans support them.

Top of The World (live album)
Released November 2003
Gold (less than 1,000,000 sold)
Billboard Peak #27
(Note: While live albums rarely do as good as studio albums, if the artist is the one of the biggest acts in country, they will sell big anyway. Example, Garth Brooks Double Live was certified 15 X Platinum.)

Top of the World (DVD)
Released Late 2003/Early 2004
Sales figures unavailable
Probably the top selling country music dvd out there, but hey, who else has one? But when Ray Stevens puts one out, let me know - it will surely outdo the Dixie Chicks.

The Dixie Chicks still aren't being played on any of the 6 country stations I can get in Kansas City. After the election, regardless of who wins, their career is effectively ended. They could try to put out a "pop" album, but I don't think the audience is there for them.

What you can expect to see is them put out another country album, then have Viacom-owned CMT (Country Music Television) force their videos down our throats (like the Sheryl Crow videos, the Bruce Springsteen video, and every new "fad" country musician out there).

exactly.

they have cried for nearly two years about a business (cumulus) calling for the boycott of another business(the chicks)..yes thats right, the chicks are a BUSINESS. they told everyone they had their FREE SPEECH taken away. they started wearing FREE NATALIE shirts to drive that point home. now here they are a BUSINESS (yes, the chicks are a business) Calling for the boycott of another BUSINESS (sinclair).... its blatant hypocricy.

Hopefully the CEO of Sinclair will not be appearing airbrushed nude on the cover of Entertainment Weekly any time soon. that wouldnt be good BUSINESS!
