Die-hard Cardinal fan here( and as I type this I'm dyin' being down 3-2)....anyway, since you brought up Bill Buckner...

Did you see where Mr.Buckner was recently almost killed in a traffic accident? The pedestrian Buckner was crossing an intersection, when an 18 wheel semi-tractor trailer ran through the the red light of the intersection in which Buckner was crossing.

Luckily for Mr. Buckner, he was able to avoid serious injury durring the incident, as the semi-truck passed harmlessly between his legs.
