My baby sister's oldest son got to shake Bush's hand in Ocala! That made him happy.

""I do not believe in big government and I don't believe in indifferent government," [Bush] said. "I am a passionate conservative."

Did he actually say "passionate", or did he say "compassionate"? I believe I've heard him refer to his position as one of a "compassionate" conservative several times in the past.

"Passionate" Conservative is a negative word trick which implies blind ideology..., like, "Bush fans 'flock' to support Bush' (mental picture: a "flock" of sheep.)

As if you didn't already know this...

In the #2 picture of President Bush waving...I am a tiny figure standing by the President's shoulder; my husband holds the red GWB sign.

We are just above the 'Florida (heart) Loves Dubya' sign.
I stood on my seat to take a photo of the President because the holder of that big sign kept obstructing my view!

Tonight we attended a dinner given by the Sarasota GOP & heard Ralph Reed speak, GOP Chair for the SE states. He said that the election is indeed close & will be decided in the last 3/4 days just prior to 11/2. He said that getting out the vote is the key!

He's a great speaker and looks like he's about 27 although he told me he is 43. He says one of his grandmother's had Indian blood so he thinks that helps him look younger.

Anyway we have loads of volunteers working very hard....much harder than in 2000 and I pray that makes a difference!

Wow, I estimated 4-5 thousand in our little town of New Port Richey. Seven thousand blows my mind.

GW had the crowd eating out of his hand. Jeb, too. What a morning!

I loved it when several times our President would yell, "My opponent may be running".......and the crowd would roar back, "But he can't hide!"

Seven or eight Kerry pukes that looked like wannabe Woodstockians lined the path where the crowd left the park, waving their crummy homemade signs. The crowd was all over them (verbally) like white on rice.

A mounted state trooper was stoically watching, but every once in a while I saw him grin a little when a Bushie got off a good one to the scrags.
