I love those movies, but recall at least one really vicious slam on Reagan in them.

The Reagan slam was in Airplane where one of the passengers after getting food poisoning, stated "I haven't felt this bad since I saw that Ronald Reagan film." At least she was only slamming his movies, not necessarily his politics. See my quote from Top Secret, now that was a slam against Jimmy Carter.
