John Edwards ripped President Bush's administration as incompetent...

Associated Press

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - John Edwards ripped President Bush's administration as incompetent, saying the president has transformed Iraq into a terrorist stronghold, let Osama bin Laden escape and run up trillions of dollars in debt.

Hundreds of people, most of them students, crammed the gym at the McPhee Physical Education Center on the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire campus Tuesday for the Democratic vice presidential candidate's 45-minute speech.

"After Nov. 2, we're going to give him all the time in the world to think about the mistakes he's made," Edwards said as the crowd roared.

True, all I needed to know was who was behind the accusations, and when I saw the name 'Breitweiser', I knew right away it was politically motivated.

These five widows have lost any sympathy from me. It's obvious from the word go that they followed the Michael Moore lines hook and sinker. Maybe they can invite him over for political orgy after the election.

No kidding...she is unbelievable. Well at least she can get a new Benz to drive around in support of Kerry.

But she better enjoy it because if he gets elected, she won't be able to afford a new keychain with all the tax hikes he'll institute.

I love her commercial, she basically states in 2000 she and her husband voted for Bush, now she's dead and she's voting for Kerry. What's the implication ... she believes Bush is responsible for 9/11. When will these libs get angry at the actual terrorists who did this rather then at our own country. Oh yeah, I forgot, can;t get upset over a nuisance.

Edwards Criticizes Rice Over Speeches

TERENCE HUNT

Associated Press

WASHINGTON - Condoleezza Rice, the White House national security adviser, is giving a flurry of speeches in political battleground states in the closing days of the campaign, bringing allegations from Sen. John Kerry's camp that she is injecting herself into the presidential race.

"George Bush will go to any length to cling to power, even if it means diverting his national security adviser from doing her job," Sen. John Edwards, Kerry's running mate, said Wednesday. "It's time for a fresh start with a White House whose priority will be to focus on doing everything to make our country safer - period."

He said exactly the same thing. See previous thread entitled "Edwards says Condi Rice should Stay at her Desk" from CNS News (sorry, I don't know how to post the threads or I'd have put it in. You can find it by searching the above title.

There's a different viewpoint. And far more members. But no coverage.

Since these morons want to talk about NSC Advisor's, here are some quotes from Sandy "Burgler", NSC head in the Clinton administration.:

Commentary on Iraq written by U.S. National Security Advisor Sandy Berger

First of all, the entire world is fed up with Iraq's continuing deception and defiance. Iraq agreed as a condition of the Gulf War cease-fire that it would disclose its weapons of mass destruction arsenal within 15 days. Instead, it has spent the better part of a decade shirking its obligations, withholding information from the inspectors, blocking their work, destroying information in plain sight. There is no clearer example than the recent discovery that Iraq produced VX-- the most deadly chemical weapon in the world--and loaded it into missile warheads that could be launched at any time against its neighbors. Experts from over a dozen countries have now confirmed this finding.

Second, the entire world remembers recent history and understands that Saddam is a menace to peace. Year after year, in conflict after conflict, Saddam has demonstrated that he seeks weapons in order to use them. And each time he has used them, his victims have been the people of the Middle East. He pursued a decade-long war against Iran, costing at least half a million lives. He repeatedly unleashed chemical weapons against Iran's soldiers and fired SCUD missiles at its cities. In 1990, his troops invaded Kuwait, executing those who resisted, looting the country, setting fire to 600 oil wells, spilling tens of millions of gallons of oil into the Gulf, firing missiles at Riyadh and Manama.

the people who killed our husbands

Dear Kristen:

Let's be honest here; your husband is dead today because, by you own admission, he turned around and walked back UP to his office when he was almost to ground level.

MOST people in the second tower LIVED because they walked out after the plane hit the first tower; your husband, who had been in the WTC when the first bomb went off in 1993, chose to return to his JOB rather than think about his family -- when less than 100 yards away Tower One was on FIRE.

Oh I agree...listen, I am all for free speech, but they act like they are the only one who suffered a loss.

I know more than a few widows and widowers who make it clear the 5 do not speak for them. But, you know, the media never, ever seeks out the others.

"At a time when terrorism is on the rise and American troops are dying every day in Iraq, we are disturbed that National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice is giving speeches and press interviews in battleground states. Her time would be far better spent tracking down Osama bin Laden and al Qaeda terrorists -- the people who killed our husbands -- and pushing for full adoption of the 9-11 commission recommendations."

Stupid women. Don't they realize that Rice is doing EXACTLY what she needs to be doing to protect this country from further terrorist attacks and to ensure that the war on terror is a victory for the United States!? If Kerry is elected we will certainly face another horrific attack, terrorists around the world will be emboldened, and the war on terror will end in defeat. Guaranteed.
