WASHINGTON, Oct. 20 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Five widows of 9-11 victims, Kristen Breitweiser, Patty Casazza, Monica Gabrielle, Mindy Kleinberg, and Lorie Van Auken, released the following statement today regarding Condoleezza Rice's travel to battleground states:
"At a time when terrorism is on the rise and American troops are dying every day in Iraq, we are disturbed that National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice is giving speeches and press interviews in battleground states. Her time would be far better spent tracking down Osama bin Laden and al Qaeda terrorists -- the people who killed our husbands -- and pushing for full adoption of the 9-11 commission recommendations."

They didn't mind wasting her time testfying live for the 9-11 commission circus.
STATEMENT OF ONE BATTLEGROUND STATE RESIDENT TO THE FIVE 9-11 WIDOWS:
GFY.
I too would verbally roast these self-indulgent oportunists. Would that I had an email address.
My sentiments exactly.
Do we see a bit of coordination between their statements and the one made by Edwards today? Do we need any more proof that they are complete partisan hacks using their husband's death to exploit their own ideology!!
I am so tired of these 9-11 victim-activists.
Who in the name of God do they think they are?
They are victims of a tragedy-----so are many more people in the US. Why do they think that they have special status?
Terrorism is on the rise? I wonder how much $$ the dear widows have donated to Kerry?
Grave-dancing. If Kristen Breitweiser had her husband's head, she'd wave it around like a flag.
I think all these women were prob dems before and kerry is exploiting them. But they don't realize they're being used. Their endorsements are useless and meaningless.
OMG, they ARE part of the Kerry/Edwards campaign! Wonder if they are reaping any financial rewards for their support?

But...but...but...I thought it was wrong to exploit 9-11 for political gain?
I agree with you. I am sick and tired of these opprtunist widows. They have no dignity and no class. You do your mourning in private and not make a mockery and a circus of your deceased loved ones. Shameless, no dignity...they are soiling the memory of their deceased spouses.
These women are trying to get into politics using their husband's death. The one question I would have to them, Have we had another attack on American Soil since 911? If the answer is no, shut the hell up! Iraq, Afghanistan it's all the same, we're beating the hell out of the terrorist on their home turf!
Breitweiser is on TV so much the woman is gonna need an agent soon. Talk about exploiting tragedy to get your mug all over the media.
These women have received a pass fromt he media for so long....... No way, strike that. These women have been empowered by the media for so long that their corrupt view of their influence has grown out of control.
Because you lost someone in the 9/11 attacks, should your opinion count more than the rest of the country? The answer is debatable.
Because you lost someone in the 9/11 attacks, are you more qualified to espouse your political beliefs than the rest of the American populace? Not at all.
It is dispicable to use the memory of your loved ones to push your political agenda on the rest of us.
It seems that these widows have every right to say this...
Maybe Kerry and Edwards should have shown up to a few more Senate Intelligence Briefings!!!
