Thanks to freeper LZ_Bayonet for finding this:

"When he approached his draft board for permission to study for a year in Paris, the draft board refused and Kerry decided to enlist in the Navy."

"He supports a volunteer Army, "if and only if we can create the controls for it. You're going to have to prepare for the possibility of a national emergency, however." Kerry said that the United Nations should have control over most of our foreign military operations. "I'm an internationalist. I'd like to see our troops dispersed through the world only at the directive of the United Nations.""

Rush was talking about this this morning. Hope the GOP and the Bush/Cheney people heard that... it's devastating.

This spaz should be polling in the single digits.

Thanks Peach!

Kerry's historical record, in his own words, in 1970, 1994 and 2004 (global test), viewed in sequence show that he has a long time agenda to turn the security of the United States over to the UN. (see also) http://www.weeklystandard.com/Content/Public/Articles/000/000/004/804suggy.asp/

This combined with the "dying under the UN flag" quote would make a hell of a commercial for Bush.

I want to see a commercial made by the RNC.

If we drop the ball and this clown gets elected, we are in big trouble. That will tell the terrorists that we are weak. We cannot let this man win. I pray that the Swift Boats Vets still have something up their sleeves. they have done a lot of damage already. Otherwise, we have to get the word out about this article. The MSM won't do it for us.

Rush was talking about this this morning. Hope the GOP and the Bush/Cheney people heard that... it's devastating.

Rush was talking about a different quote. Something from around 1994 where Kerry said something about US soldiers killed fighting under the multilateral effort of the US would be justified. While US soldiers killed fighting for the United States would not.

That's even more recent than his 71 "internationalist" quote. Made while he was a Senator, and far more damning because he's saying that fighting for the interests of the United States is unjustified.

Finding this? It has been posted many times here on FReeRepublic. Noting the date of the article would help to not confuse others as to when Kerry said this.

To clarify: The Harvard Crimson article is from 1970, which is important because, combined with the 1994 Post article, and the 2004 debate statement "global test", it shows a clear, historical PATTERN of having an agenda for UN control over the security of the US.

Like the Pres says, "He can run, but he can't hide!"

How is something from 1970 on the internet? Just wondering how that works. Did the Crimson scan all their archives?

The Harvard Crimson's online archive now extends back to 1873.

One thing left out that was also in the article was this statement:

On other issues, Kerry wants "to almost eliminate CIA activity."

Seems to me that explains why he wanted to underfund the intelligence agencies.

We must not let this man get elected. do everything in your power to get out the Republican vote.
