Smart growth = unelected government drones and activist busybodies deciding how you should use (or not use) your own land.
F**k them.
There's only one kind of planning or preservation that is legitimate, and that is for the nosy nellies to put up their own money and buy property at market prices and then impose whatever restrictions they like on it.
