O'REILLY ACCUSER'S CNN ANTICS
New York Post - Page Six ^ | 10/21/04 | Richard Johnson with Paula Froelich and Chris Wilson

ANDREA Mackris — the producer accusing Bill O'Reilly of sexual harassment in a $60 million suit — left CNN and returned to Fox News Channel with a plan to set O'Reilly up, say insiders who worked with her at both news channels.

Mackris saw first-hand how charges of sexual harassment could derail a man's career when she worked at CNN for Jim Miller, the executive producer of "Paula Zahn Now" and "Anderson Cooper 360."

Miller, a hard-charging boss who tried to shake up the lethargic staff at CNN, was forced to resign last March when a woman he'd butted heads with complained about inappropriate language. Other women interviewed by Human Resources ganged up on Miller by backing her up.

"They were like a witch's coven. I think when Andrea saw what this woman was able to do to Miller, that's when she decided to go back to Fox," one CNN producer said. "She didn't go back for $90,000 a year; she went back for $60 million."

[snip]

"She is known for using saucy language and she likes to talk about sex," said one former friend. "I always thought she had a crush on O'Reilly."

Another TV news executive said, "I have two questions. Why go back to Fox? And why stay on the phone? If a guy is trying to have phone sex with you, you hang up. You say your house is on fire, whatever. You don't stay on the line."

She and her lawyer are total sleaze. This should be fun.

I'm starting to think O'rielly is going to come out of this one largely unscathed.

I suspected as much from the beginning (her motive for going back to FOX), but none of this excuses O'Reilly's behavior. Ailes should've already gotten rid of him.

Like I maintained, she's largely a gold-digger.

"but none of this excuses O'Reilly's "

He sure does know better, about a month ago he gave a little speech about how he knew people were out to get him and that he would just never fraternize with the help to avoid this kind of thing. Who knows, maybe he knew he had been set up even then.

Desperate, deranged and usually UNATTRACTIVE and spiteful
women seem to think they're entitled to be believed just by
filing lawsuits for "sexual harrassment." Disgusting.

This one smells wicked.

As much as O'Reilly makes me mad, I have to admit I have some degree of sympathy for the guy.

I'm no O'Reilly fan but this junk is just made up. I don't believe one word of it. It may just be that I am a 3d year law student and I have grown a tad cynical, but I know a piece of crap when I see one. I read the whole complaint against him, and it is pure, unmitigated, junk. It looks like Michael Moore helped her attorney write it. It even takes cheap shots at President Bush in the complaint. That alone makes me very suspicious. The burden is on her to put up or shut up. That is put up, not put out.

I am so glad I quit my law job in NYC and now am self employed. How do people work in offices these days, anyway?

Clinton, Rather and O'Reilly should have shown they had the class of Gingrich and Livingstone.

Cripes, I hate to be a traitor to my sex, but I've got to say that there's nothing more evil than a group of stupid, jealous, unhappy women on the rampage. (Get a job in an office full of women and you'll see what I mean...as soon as someone leaves the room, the whispering and cattiness begins).

Me, too...I have one close female friend; the rest are men. It'd be nice to find a happy medium between the bitter career hags and the mindless shop-til-you-drop types, but at least in my experience, they're few and far between!

Back in 1999, the office witch filed sexual harassment against me because I had mentioned her less than sterling work habits in a meeting with my boss. She complained, I was investigated and my name raked over the coals. I was a minister and it didn't matter. I never went near the lady in my workplace and that didn't matter...She accused me of kissing her on the cheek at Christmas the previous year, and yeah, I had done it. Fortunately, I was found innocent at the earliest level of investigation. Even so, I left my job of 21 years a few weeks later. The way these laws are set up, you can't accuse your accuser of anything afterward or even face them during the process.

Sexual harassment has become a cowardly action for deranged women. I don't mind legitimate protections in the workplace, but what happened to me is not right.

Nobody cares about the men that have been savaged by this feminist plague. Nobody does news stories about us...It is criminal. And I'm not the only man this has happened to.
