Golitsyn let it all hang out when he made those predictions. They were designed to be independently verified. That's why Riebling researched them. His conclusion? 94% of Golitsyn's predictions came to pass (whereas, every other Soviet analyst was completely taken by surprise). Indeed, his prediction about the effect this would have on the EU, NATO and the US are unfolding before our very eyes.

I've read Riebling pretty closely and while his work is useful I find flaws in his arguments in a number of places and I disagree with a number of things he says.
Regarding Golitsyn's predictions coming true, keep in mind that a disinformation agent is going to say some things that are true--usually giveaway information which is already known--in order to make the rest of his story seem plausible.
