John Kerry's Dis-Honorable Discharge?

Last time I checked the Brit lottery they had Bush 65 to something (very nearly 35 cause I remember it added very close to 100). I/we 'shop' around the world here, with members in every corner and the Brits are fairly steady to hang your hat on when generalizing.

There is NO REASON why he would be given less than an Honorable discharge. I don't see that he did anything while in the service that would have earned him the ire of the Navy at the time. Whether we like it or don't, Kerry's statements after the war to the Senate and in demonstrations are protected speech.

You've never been in the service, have you? If you had, you would not make such statements. Kerry was conspiring with and giving aid and comfort to the enemy of the United States when he went to Paris and met with Madame Binh of the VC while he was still a member of the US Naval Reserve AND we were still at war. THAT, in and of itself, is treason and grounds for both a Dishonorable Discharge and a court-martial. We know that he didn't get one, we don't know that he didn't get the other.

All the time he was running around doing that, he was still the property of the US Navy - and the Navy frowned on sailors exercising their Free Speech Rights. It simply isn't done - not if you're as smart as Kerry claims to be.

It makes sense that Kerry's service records have been manipulated and massaged to make him look good, and I bet it was done with the collusion and cooperation of one Jimmah Carter and one Sen. Teddy Chappaquiddick.

Kerry still held a commission in the USNR when he went to Paris and met with the NVA/VC which is a violation of one or more articles in the UCMJ.

(putting aside everything skerry did, which he should have been investigated and/or tried for treason)

If one is discharged from the military, any other way, other than an Honorable Dis. - can they still run for [any] kind of office? Or is it just CIC? Or... is it just because it's just looks really bad?

A Kerry campaign spokesman, David Wade, was asked whether Mr. Kerry had ever been a victim of an attempt to deny him an honorable discharge. There has been no response to that inquiry.

Can anyone think of a reason why the Kerry Kampaign would refuse to respond if the answer is "no"?

I don't know the rules you are speaking of but if there are rules I will look for them and read them. What are you guys some type of middle of the road website? I personally sent the info, websites, VVAW FBI websites, to every show, reporter and talking head I trusted to give a fair shake and got NADA! Where's Rush? Hanity, Brit Hume, Fox News editor, ABC, NBC, CBSSS, even. NADA! Drudge?, Does anybody believe Ann Coulter is scared to bring it up?

This was 2 weeks ago. Nothing yet! Are we going to get a president that hasn't even been vetted by the media without even a peep about his voting to kill Senators? Explaining his discharge 6 years late? Just give me a believeable excuse and I can move on, but to not even bring it up? I wrote O' Rielly and asked him to bring a form 180 to the set and hand it to him and offer his pen right on live air. Don't you think he would have been the man of the century, a king maker, if he did that. Course Kerry is a no show.

After Bush's anal exam in the Nat Gd, they won't even ask Kerry to release his records. People are already early voting for goodness sake. We needed a September surprise, because October is getting short.
