Bob Shrum Put Dukakis in a Tank and Kerry in the Blind

Posted on 10/21/2004 9:28:57 PM PDT by GoldwaterBooster

Bob Shrum, the man who brought you the Dukakis campaign of 1988, and made his candidate look ridiculous in a tank, has done it again. Now he puts Macho John in a fatigue jacket while someone else carries the late goose. I feel another Purple Heart application coming on. Joe Biden, the man who was forced out of the 1988 primary because he plagiarized his own life story from British Labour Leader Neil Kinnock, now informs the rest of us he thinks the president is "brain dead." Clinton is enroute to Philadelphia, Gore going to Florida, and attorneys flying every which way. Meanwhile Marc Rich is no longer a fugitive from justice in the U.S. because of the general pardon from Clinton, the next UN Secretary General. And Al Gore still says "there is no controlling legal authority" that his fundrasing at a Bhuddist Temple was illegal. No authority except the law that is. Surely the Democratic Party can do better than this menagerie of candidates. As Don Imus once said of the Clinton Cabinet, they are the strangest looking group of people since the bar room scene in Star Wars. Back in the goose blind, Judicial Watch is still looking for the Rose Law Firm billing records.

I'm still puzzled as to why we didn't get more mileage out of the silly looking space suit.

> Clinton is enroute to Philadelphia

That's what Kerry's people say, but is it true?

Why does Shrum continue to find work?

When was the last time he worked for someone who won?

What I am wondering is if someone else wounded the goose, and Kerry chased it down and shot it in the back.

There IS precident for this you know.

The media learned belatedly that publicizing Dukakis in the tank led to his ignominious defeat. They won't make that mistake again. Although...they did follow the talking points on goose-boy today. I hope the media sinks Kerry and figures it out later.

Because Dukakis used the APC to prop up his defense
posture. Kerry didn't make a big deal out of his
space posture, until today ...

The Kerry kamp is running a new reverse projection hoax
that Bush is going to limit the Shuttle to 10 flights.
The truth is that a Pres.Kerry wouldn't have the nerve
to authorize even one (return to flight).

But the bunny shot has done its work. It has innoculated
anyone who cares about space against Kerry BS on that
topic.

Don't you think shooting a goose is going to hurt him with the PETA crowd?

What about having someone else carrying it for him because he was 'to lazy due to his glee over the Red Sox win' (the delusional Red Sox of the debates)-that should help him with the blue collar vote!

I bet Bob Shrum is a Republican sleeper. That'd be interesting to one day find out that on his death bed he confessed to being a life long Republican and that is why he sunk every campaign he ever worked on (he literally has never won a single Presidential campaign and he has worked on quite a few).

I thought it was Susan Estrich. Perhaps it was the same Democrat operative who hired Craig Livingston.
