If a friend and I went hunting together and I got a goose, but he carried it out of the woods to our vehicle without a proper tag on it and I was charged I would hope that a judge would throw it out.

This is an old ploy tried by those that want to get their game home without using their tag. I don't hunt geese but if you don't tag your deer immediately and you get caught, you are in for trouble.
