HARRISBURG | Gov. Ed Rendell lashed out Wednesday at critics of his plan to put state bureaucrats in county election offices on Election Day, accusing naysayers of playing partisan politics to the detriment of fair elections.
And he said his top legal adviser for the project should be praised for not charging for his services, not condemned. Lawyer Mark Aronchick raised $100,000 for Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry, until recently acted as the campaign's legal adviser here, and publicly said President Bush has ''a contemptible pseudosincerity.''

Governor Rendell, I'll see your state election commission flunky at the polls on Nov. 2nd, and I'll raise you two.
If this guy was a cheesesteak, he'd eat himself.
Fat, crooked, p.o.s. rat. That's all you are Rendell.
He sounds like a pompous windbag. Stuff it, you are a partisan hack, surrounded by partisan hacks.......enough already.
God forgive me, I HATE these people.
I've noticed a trend in the reports of voter fraud, intimidation etc. This isn't particularly surprising- but I've heard of two instances of Republican questionable activities...and literally countless number of same attempted by the Democrats.
Is this the same tactic that the Dems have successfully used in the past, as with Daschle and the polling places on the Indian reservations. The Dem party sent out high priced lawyers from New York who intimidated the hell out of the honest poll workers and prevented them from questioning cases of potential voter fraud.
Keep up the pressure folks. It must be having some effect if he's snapping at the press. Just a few weeks ago, his pick to supervise Pennsylvania's new slot machines resigned when some questionable ties to the mob were brought to light. Rendell freaked out at the press conference in which he announced he was accepting the appointee's withdrawal from consideration, telling the assembled press that this type of investigation of his appointees had to stop. So, keep the pressure on. Rendell is as radical left as any Democrat you'll find and he freaks out whenever it's exposed.
Once again the GOP is playing catch up and loser's ball
THey HAD to know the democrats were going to use every fraud tactic they could
The GOP should have beat them to the punch and started bitchin about this stuff months ago
I'm sure the voting in Philly and Pittsburgh will be as fair as it ever was.
Rendell has his union buddies ready to make sure of it.
Last time I saw Aronchik he was hosting Monica Lewinski's dirtbag and incompetent lawyer at a "secret" meeting of the Philly bar so we could hear Ginzgurg blast Ken Starr and Linda Tripp. Aronchik is a smarmy little twirp who does well by swimming in the leftist sea of lawyers there.
Perhaps, but this "plan" was apparently only leaked a few days ago. The election hasn't happened yet so with enough pressure from voters and the press, it can possibly be stopped in its tracks in time. Pennsylvania election law already has provisions for monitoring the fairness of elections. These onservers will be operating outside of the law and have no legal standing in the election process, regardless of whether they were appointed as volunteers by the governor.
Rendell is dangerous. He's the sort of moderate appearing pro-business Democrat who can win.

And yes, I really take that graphic seriously, and all of you had better, too.
Rendell is only dangerous because the Rinos are easily fooled by trash like him. He and Specter are cut from the same cloth.
Rendell, the same guy who is trying to screw the military voters again.
