The school district’s attorney argued that the school edited her speech to promote tolerance and acceptance of minority viewpoints.

The school edited someone else's word to promote a political agenda. If this is allowable, why not editing someone's words to promote slavery or rape or anything else you care to name? While we would expect this kind of thing from politcal organizations, a public school district engaging in this kind of behaviour reeks of Nazi Germany.

The INDIVIDUAL teacher(s) involved in this should be held PERSONALLY liable, i.e., let them pay the costs OUT OF THEIR OWN POCKET OR HAVE THE NEA UNION DUES ALLOCATED to pay the costs.

All this judgement does is to force funds from TAXPAYERS to be used to pay for the LIBERAL SPEWERS' agenda when caught.

The KEY has to be to make these Liberals INDIVIDUALLY RESPONSIBLE for their acts, which is a whole universe unknown to them (being responsible/accountable).

Exactly right. (I should have read your post BEFORE I posted nearly the same observation of my own below).
