O'Donnell I think is letting us all know what the internal Democrat polls of the Presidential election looks like for Kerry. HORRIBLE

Kerry is obviously TOAST and this implosion of Democrat O'Donnell will be a very good reflection of the entire Democrat party after the election.

I am afraid I will never watch Scarborough Country again. It was one of the few MSNBC shows I watched with any regularity, but I will never darken its doorstep again, as long as the character assassin and apparent madman, Lawrence O'Donnell, continues to appear on the show.

His recent appearance with John O'Neill was absolutely repulsive. While I have great regard for our military, I was born after Vietnam. As such, I was genuinely interested in hearing O'Neill defend some of the questions Buchanan posed to him. Instead, I was assaulted with O'Donnell's pathetic, red-faced shouting down of everyone else on the show.

I believe O'Donnell really presents the ugliest face possible to what is otherwise an enjoyable show. For the sake of my own blood pressure (who wants to watch a cretin like that scream at a veteran of our military?!), I have chosen to no longer watch your show until there is some assurance that he will no longer be on.

I just emailed the following message to MSNBC and Joe's website. Need plenty of us to do it to get this fool where he belongs.

I just witnessed the most despicable outburst of venom from this “man” (Lawrence O'Donnell) on Scarbouorgh Country, and am appalled. He is what’s wrong with the Democratic Party these days and a perfect example of why I’ve switched parties. If you continue to have this raving maniac as a guest on your shows, you’ve lost at least one viewer.

His behaviour on Scarborough was just a continuation of that trip.

I believe he, literally, does have some mental problem

In fact this whole election campaign is best viewed from the standpoint of abnormal psychology.

I have just had the very very great misfortune to witness your so-called "Senior Analyst", Lawrence O'Donnell, virtually explode in a vitriolic and, frankly, unbalanced shouting tirade against a Mr. O'Neil of the Swiftboat group.

Mr. O'Donnell's behavior was extremely upsetting to me and I wish I had not been exposed to it. However, having been so exposed I feel this performance should not go un-responded to by a viewer so I am writing to express the feelings of deep outrage and sorrow this episode brought forth.

Irrespective of the merits of either of their points, O'Donnell's efforts to both insult the guest as well as shout down all of his responses was, from the perspective of this independent observer, obscene and more characteristic of a new form of "Brownshirts" than of a forum for reasoned debate and discussion of differing points of view. His repeated shouts of "Liar" and other obstructionist techniques were the equivalent of verbal Billy Clubs designed to prevent any response from being received by the viewer.

I have seen Mr. O'Donnell go similarly berserk on a couple of other occasions and, at first, I was surprised at his vehemence and irrationality since I had previously observed him to be reasonable and rational. His latest melt-down, on your show tonight has convinced me that my prior, initial impressions were in error and that this guy is seriously impaired.

My suggestion for Mr. O'Donnell is to take a liberal dose of Prozac, go to bed and stay off of my TV. My suggestion the management of MSNBC-TV is to get rid of this immature, undisciplined and unpleasant personality at your earliest opportunity.

We should really get the word out about this unbelieveably shameful performance. Nutjob O'Donnell just makes them look even worse, it was pretty funny to see him hang himself and have a serious mental collapse on cable TV. O'Neill was ever the classy man he is.

What I wouldn't have given to have JOE referring that mess tonite!!!! He would have NEVER allowed O'Donnell to carry on like that. Joe knows how to handle his guests, and he will not tolerate that kind of rudeness. I hope his back improves soon, and I am praying for him!

I'm really upset I missed this posting when it was fresh. I will not watch Joe anymore, but TIVO to see if Buchannan is hosting, at least he gives a shot to standing up to the lefties they have on.

Theprobloem is NOT that O'Donnell is an out of control leftie on a talk show.. That's POK..viewers can choose to watch or not. The problem is that O'Donnell is NBC's snerior political analyst..he helps to strtucture and shape the network's coverage..How can be impartial doing so...O'Donnel makes Rather look like an altar boy..
