"My guess it will be Putin; the paper: Los Angeles Times. "

I'm going with you on this one.

Kerry has been doing nothing but shoot his mouth off with his standard, knowingly VAGUE, UNTRACEABLE NAME-DROPPING "there-are-all-sorts-of-foreign-leaders-that-I've-had-talks-with-that-look-forward-to-dealing-with-ME-rather-than-Bush."

We also know that he loves to do this sleazy quid pro quo crap that usually involves some sort of under the radar/table, ("you help me, I'll help you,) hushed, veiled threat from Kerry that is NOT appreciated (so much for his social skills.)

Homie (foreign leaders) don't play dat.

Just be patient--if this story has legs and is valid Drudge will be all over it. There is no newspaper in this country he doesn't have contacts with who love to give him the scoop...That "developing...." is money in the bank for the newspaper he is linking to.

"Not one person has attempted to take Kerry down (except Swift Boat vets and Pows)"

There are MANY Vets involved in taking Kerry down.

There are many Patriots also involved.

WE all stand with the Swift Boat Vets and the POW's

It might relate to the Viet Nam story (afater the war) and how his cousin, or somebody(?), made money a lot of money with Kerry's help.

I'm betting it's WaPo. There's been a great divide between WaPo and the other major lib papers this election. They've run stories crediting Bush and questioning Kerry. Their polls seem to have been more honest than CBS et al. Also if the story were to break in the NYPost or WashTimes it would have a blowback effect on the Bush campaign. I don't think the editors and publishers of those dailies would want that.

If a story exists I'm beting it's in WaPo. Second choice ChiTrb. There may be a reason they endorsed Bush.

I'm sorry I am just discouraged, I just think we are looking at a generation of people that would rather be "liked" than be free.

I went into my archives looking for the article where Kerry had his foreign advisers in Syria. They only go back three weeks. I didn't find the FreeRepublic until the Dan Blather thing hit the fan.

But, I know what I read.

What I do remember is that the negotiator was a former Clinton adviser.

We need to keep things in perspective.

There are MANY, MANY, MANY who think the way we do.

You just never hear about them.

Yep. JK went to VN to try to get prisoners released then came back here and said there were no prisoners left over there. Rumor is he wanted normal relations started back up with VN so his cousin could get a big contract on the rebuilding of VN. I heard somewhere that he threatened someone who had proof that he lied about no more prisoners left. Told this person he would wish he had never been born if he talked or something to that effect.

Yep, The Washington Post will run with it , if it is a reliable story.

They were pretty good in getting the information out with RatherGate.

"Anyone care to guess which major newspaper would run such a story?Let's see...Washington Times, NY Post, Manchester Union Leader, WSJ Editorial Page. I think that about wraps it up."

The New York Sun has been working on the Kerry story and has produced some great work so far.

The Washington Post is about the only semi-reliable paper left. And I wouldn't put all my eggs in their basket.
