I remember when he was loose. Everyone in town knew his name. At the time, he was the worst hombre the city had seen in years. That was just before the crack wave gave us a whole army of Larry Davises. And three years later, the Central Park Jogger case showed that you didnt need drugs at all, for such depravity. I suppose the same people who lionized Larry Davis made heroes of the boys who brutalized and raped the Jogger, and later defended Latrell Sprewell for assaulting P.J. Carlesimo.
