[Gabler's tripe not posted]
I can't believe this utter tripe wasn't posted.
The LA Slimes hit a new low with this Sunday Op-Ed piece "gracing" the front page of the Opinion section.
The headline is Rove is America's Mullah. And the inside header is "The Ayatollah in the White House".
This is either 1) calling Roosevelt's top political coordinator a Nazi in the 1944 election -- the Mullahs, such as Omar or those from Iran are universally recognized as the worst of the worst today.
2)If this extreme term isn't meant, then what is it? Is the LA Times smearing Islam? Is that the sort of thing a good liberal inclusive diverse paper wants to do?
All in all this is the lowest of the low. The argument is stupid as well. Just hate mongering.
Gabler is associated with Norman Lear's "think-tank" which is a particularly vile hate mongering group.

Thye're self destructing and it's fun to watch.
Neil Gabler, that's all one needs to know
Worst paper in the country....SLIMES!!
That's Neal, not Neil
They're making the same mistake that Bush 41's team made in '92. Mary Matalin recounts this in her book. She said that the Bush team was so intimidated and freaked out by Carville, about what he would do or was going to do, that they wasted a lot of valuable time and energy focused on him, when they should've been focusing it entirely on Clinton and their campaign. Carville was the tar baby, just as Rove is now to democrats.
This guy knows how to give me reason to be very, very angry.
Fox continues to pay him, too. ugghhhhh
hmmmm.....whatever happened with that investigation into theirs and NYTimes circulation #s?
They tried this crap on Arnold....he zoomed up in the polls. Everyone's onto the Times' anti-American zeitgeist.
SERIOUSLY..PINKOS ARE TRYING TO RUN OUR NATION!
This is what passes for political analysis in the LA Times? Perhaps the Times is fielding Neal Gabler as a counterpunch to that fresh new firebrand at the San Francisco Chronicle - Mark Morford. SF and LA have been rivals for ages in just about every category that rivalries can be judged - baseball, entertainment, decrepitude, etc.
If I had to choose between reading Gabler and Morford, I would choose Morford. They are both hacks, but Morford is the pig that wallows in his own filth, while Gabler is the one wearing a dress and seated with the family at dinner and driving away polite company. No wait, if I want to make this analogy proper I have to have Morford in a dress too. Very well, Morford is in his sty, wallowing in his own filth, and staining his dress.
"They" can't STAND it, and you are all correct...it IS fun to watch!
The LAtimes is also giving Sunday papers away as the election draws near. Got mine at Wahoos Fish Tacos.
Some front page garbage

I get this fishwrap delivered to my driveway daily. This is nothing new for them. They are uber-liberal and in the tank for any and all DUmbocrats.
Have you ever heard of Robert Scheer, they don't come any worse that this guy and he's got a regular Tuesday op-ed every week that are so vile I won't even read the headers.
They did everything they could think of to keep Gray Davis in office and it didn't help him a bit.
The L A Slimes is the center of the SoCal kool-aid stand.
I thought he way gay, that's probably his sister, LOL.
In the last ten days, I've gotten three (so far) mailed solicitations for subscribing - way out here in the Palm Springs area.
I've duly sent them back their postpaid envelopes, with only their junk reinserted.
