John Kerry has stepped in it again. Remember Christmas in Cambodia? The ribbons and the medals? The Kennedy conversation with de Gaulle I just told you about? Well now we have another classic from The Poodle, but this time we have witnesses. Since you won't hear much about this from the mainstream media, I'll regale you with the latest whopper from The Soufflé.
In the second presidential debate, Senator Kerry said about Iraq: "This president hasn't listened. I went to meet with the members of the Security Council in the week before we voted. I went to New York. I talked to all of them, to find out how serious they were about really holding Saddam Hussein accountable." Boy, that Kerry is really on the case...going to the UN and all. But wait!
John Kerry never went to the United Nations in the week before he voted to give President Bush the authority to invade Iraq. In fact, an investigation by the Washington Times reveals that of the 5 ambassadors on the Security Council in 2002, four said they have never met The Poodle. On top of that, a couple say they remember the time well, and would have remembered meeting Kerry. In other words, he lied. John Kerry made it up. Once again, the compulsive liar has lied again to try and impress the voters.
You have to ask yourself...what would have happened had President Bush claimed to have met with people at the U.N. when he really didn't? We'd never hear the end of it...including from The Poodle. The media would be all over that in a heartbeat.
As it stands now, the pro-Kerry minions in the leftist media let this one pass right on by.
He met wih them at the same time he met the "Foreign Leaders" at the deli.........So much baloney....so little time......

Everything that comes out of kerry's mouth is a lie, haven't you realized that yet?
Just like he says his 'faith in God' guides his every action. How he 'prayed everyday' in Vietnam, how he 'prayed' when his best friends were killed beside him, (who were they, and were they his best freinds?)
In reality, this man is about as Christian as a murdering Muslim jihadist. He only lately has become 'religious' in order to whore for a vote. Prior to this election, Kerry never set foot inside a church, except to marry his first rich wife.

With regard to the “Kerry lied about the UN Security Council meeting” story in today’s Washinton Times, here is a 12/10/03 Kerry quote that a Polipundit reader, John, pulled from the Boston Globe webstie:
“Secondly, I spent a lot of time before the vote looking at this issue. I went up to the United Nations at the request of some friends. And I met with the entire Security Council in a room just like this at a table like this. I spent two hours with them. (inaudible), just me and the Security Council, asking them questions. The French ambassador, “Is there a time when President Chirac would be ready to come on board? What do we need to do to move the French people to a place where they understand the stakes? Are you prepared to spend money? Do you believe we might have to use force in order to disarm Saddam Hussein? At what point would you be ready to do that?” I went through that with all of them. And I left there convinced that the U.N. was prepared to be deadly serious about this.”
I was amazed by the specificity of the recollection of the meeting. I guess this really is another “Cambodia” moment.
