Looks like all that O'Donnell did was to keep calling O'Neill a LIAR instead of respectfully debating him on the issues.

He freaked out because he knows what is coming from the Swiftees later this week.
If you look at the confidence level of each side..
When asked for predictions you see GOP people very confident right now, while Dems keep saying stuff like, "It's going to be close, but Kerry will pull it out".
Howard Dean said this morning, when asked by Imus who he thought would win, he said, If it were held today, Kerry would win in a close race, but he anything could happen over the next week.

"Civility" is not a known behavior mode for far too many liberals. It's eather hysterics or schmooze.

Problem is, it probably appeals to the base.
Well, first of all, the Dems cannot refute the Swifties point-by-point. So they resort to calling them liars, which in their mind eliminates the burden of truth and debate.

Were you lost in some remote jungle during the 1990s? Civility was on life support the day Reagan won the presidency, and died the day Bill Clinton threw his hat into the ring.

O'Donnell called O'Neil a liar something like 27 times in the segment I think I read that figure on NRO.
Me too...I remarked to hubby that I thought O'Donnell was going to have a coronary on live TV.
Exactly right. O'Donnell is scared to death, and trying to hurt O'Neill's credibility before the bomb drops.
