This turkey of a story ain't going nowhere. The New York Slimes got caught in another whopper. The funniest part was how the DUmmies were convinced that this would be the issue that finally sank President Bush
The problem is that Kerry got to rail about it for a whole news cycle and will never have to retract what he's said, just as the NYT will never retract what they wrote.
And now, according to Drudge it looks like they have another front page "bomshell" for tomorrow's news cycle.

You just can't loot 380 tons of anything. You need many dump trucks and flat beds. Does any one else remember the story about Sadam replacing regular guards at the Syrian border with his private guards and trucks leaving Iraq. When trucks had gone, regular guards were sent back to their border post?

To whoever asked- David Bloom was with the 3rd ID
I'm forwarding this thread to my son...believe me- the 101st knows about this...as to any of them speaking out- I doubt it- unless it's from the top.
However, they are voting on 2 November. HOOAH!

"The letter (from the UN) informed the IAEA that since Sept. 4, 2003, looting at the Al-Qaqaa installation south of Baghdad had resulted in the loss of 214.67 tons of HMX, 155.68 tons of RDX and 6.39 tons of PETN explosives.""
U.N. agency confirms 377 tons of explosives have vanished NBC News: Miklaszewski: April 10, 2003, only three weeks into the war, NBC News was embedded with troops from the Army's 101st Airborne as they temporarily take over the Al Qakaa weapons installation south of Baghdad. But these troops never found the nearly 380 tons of some of the most powerful conventional explosives, called HMX and RDX, which is now missing..."
Can't both be true, now can they?

Bush needs to make this an issue! Point out at every campaign stop tomorrow that Kerry ran with a phony story, and call it a sign of desperation. In fact, it **WAS** a sign of desperation!
To: ShowMeMom
Exactly - they will launch one hit after another every day until the election, and no matter how discredited each story will be, the corrections and retractions won't be noticed by anyone but conservative political junkies. They are hoping to throw every bit of mud and slime they have left in their cesspool this week and hope that at least some of it will have an effect.

They revealed how far they are willing to go to destroy this President, and in effect, immunized him. They don't have the power to destroy this man.*********
I can't but believe he has safety amour not made nor supplied by man - The stakes here are our very civilization and freedom...the "MAN" above has a big stake in the outcome of this election too - I believe he's running interference for our "Man" down here - for all of us.
And we best be doing the right thing, like fighting for the innocents - His children.
I find it mind-boggling that the "Human Rights" and ilk don't count little babies, just minutes away from taking thier first breath, as 'human."
