Brit didn't questions this? What a disappointment.
I was really mad at Brit. And then during the panel, he was making excuses for Kerry. Since he has known Kerry since childhood, you'd think Brit would know Kerry is a lying opportunist. I just don't get it. His show replays at 11 PM CDT.
I missed most of the show but saw the roundtable. My impression was every last man (Fred, Mort and Jeff B. today) said the NYT story was nothing and old news and I think it was Mort who described Kerry latching onto it as he did today as a "desperation tactic".
I'd call it worse. Kerry came very close to saying the death of any of our soldiers with these explosives could be blamed on President Bush. Very close to saying that, IMO.
Brit made it a point to say we don't know when it come up missing...before or after we got there. [para.] Now we know it was before.
Bet we don't get this many reports debunking this story tomorrow.
