When I watched Brit tonight, I couldn't believe he reported the Times story as fact. The media must think search engines are some new technology we've installed in our airports.

I'm glad to see that someone was as upset and outraged as I was. I threw a slipper at the TV - something that I've been close to doing for the past week but never figured it would be at BRIT HUME!!! But I was furious that he would go on and on about this lie. What ever happened to "fact checking"? Rush knew it was a lie. Why didn't Hannity or Brit? No memory for the beginning of the Iraq war?

We knew that those who still supported Saddam would take explosives out of where they had been stored, and cover them up in sand - an attempt to keep them from being destroyed, and as we've found MIG's covered up in sand, it was a pretty effective technique. There was a lot of sand to hide whatever they wanted and I have no doubt that if we bulldozed the entire country (think about searching an area the size of California(!), we'd find more stuff that they just left buried in the sand.

But Sean and Brit falling for the NY Slimes front page lie? Unforgiveable.

The word "lazy" comes to mind in the case of Sean and Brit. And both have staff to help them.

"Rush knew it was a lie. Why didn't Hannity or Brit? "

You're kidding, right? Rush is simply on an intellectual and professional mountain that the rest of these guys can't ascend, that's why. Sean is like a wind-up doll who quotes other people. Rush sets the standard with original thought.
