"There are all kinds of atrocities, and I would have to say that, yes, yes, I committed the same kind of
atrocities as thousands of other soldiers have committed in that I took part in shootings in free fire zones.
I conducted harassment and interdiction fire. I used 50 calibre machine guns, which we were granted and
ordered to use, which were our only weapon against people. I took part in search and destroy missions, in
the burning of villages. All of this is contrary to the laws of warfare, all of this is contrary to the Geneva
Conventions."
John F. Kerry, April 18, 1971, in an interview with Tim Russert on Meet the Press... President Elect or
WAR CRIMINAL? You decide.

"There are all kinds of atrocities... I committed..."

"...shootings in free fire zones..."

[Cannot usually be considered an "atrocity," with the possibility of obvious non-combatants.]

."..harassment and interdiction fire..."

[This is standard procedure, against known enemy areas, not an "atrocity."]

"... 50 calibre machine guns... which were our only weapon..."

[This is really STUPID, on two levels. Kerry conveniently forgets that HIS Swift Boat had an M-60( 7.62 [30 caliber]machine gun), an 81 mm mortar, an m-79 (grenade launcher), and several M-16 (assault rifles). Thus it is an blatant LIE for him to say that 50 calibers were his "only weapons..."

What is more important is that these "50 calibre(sic) machine guns..." have been standard equipment in the US military since at least WWII. Their equivalents have been similarly standard, in all other armies. Their use cannot possibly be considered an "atrocity."]

"... search and destroy missions..."

[This is just the then-current military terminology for finding and killing the enemy. That is the basic function of combatants, in warfare. It can in no way be considered an "atrocity."]

"...the burning of villages..."

[If, and only if, the village was NOT an enemy position could this be considered even a violation of the Geneva Convention. Even then, it would be a wrong and foolish action, not an "atrocity.]

"... contrary to the laws of warfare, all of this is contrary to the Geneva Conventions."

[With he noted exception about "burning villages," none of these subjects are against either."]

I am so excited about this! I live in Florida. ;-)

I'm sure it won't turn out the way "A POW Story" did -- an infomercial for Kerry.

The Swiftvets and POWs are a courageous group of men and I don't think they will let anyone stop them now.

I was happy to donate to the Swiftvets more than I have ever contributed to any group in the past because I believe, WHEN the President wins, it will be because the Swiftees told America the truth about John Kerry.

As Lynne Cheney so aptly put it, "This is not a good man!"

Godspeed, Swiftvets and POWs for truth.

I totally agree. He knows he would be sunk if he had to release all of his records. A coward then, a coward now.

Bittorent is the technology to distribute large video files to many people without having a large amount of bandwidth. It works by letting different computers download different sections of file and then exchange them between themselves not having to download from the seed.

This means that the more people download the faster the download is for each person!
Here is a description of how it works: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bittorent

The only disadvantage is that a person has to install a bittorent client program on their computer to download files.

Instruction on how to create a bittorent file and links to bittorent clients are available through the link above.

UPDATE: CampaignTruth/Cross Media just purchased time on 5 Florida TV stations (they are located in Florida). The "Unfit To Lead" video will be broadcast on PAX TV outlets in Jacksonville, West Palm Beach, Miami, Orlando, and Tampa on Sunday at 5PM and 11:30PM. They have also purchased ad time to promote this broadcast. They need donations to fund further broadcast through television and online streaming.

I've talked to the company that hosts the Stolen Honor streaming video and I'm working to get that company together with the company trying to distribute the Unfit To Lead video. I'm working with some of the techies that made the video to get the specifications to hand on to hosting company so that I can get them a price quote on how much it would cost to host and stream the video for 1 week. The Pay-per-view (just like Stolen Honor) model will likely be used where the video will cost $5.00 to get access to the streaming broadcast. That is, if I can make this happen. In the meantime, everyone needs to be checking out CampaignTruth.com for updates and to DONATE.

BitTorrent won't work because it a.)is a P2P model, b.)requires standard computer users to install an additional client they may not want to install and c.)does not provide for pay-per-view distribution.

Instead, I'm looking into a standard video stream or streaming event host. Yes, it will cost money but that should be made up by the pay-per-view model that would likely be used.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

NEW UPDATE: I will be retrieving the entire Quicktime file via FTP tomorrow AM. The production company and the guy who made the video is providing it to me. They are encoding it as I write this. I will obtain the specs from the file, guess at what bit rate we want to use to host this, get a quote from the hosting company, get the production company to approve it and make the deal with the hosting company (ie. pay them or whatever) and I'll work it from there. I hope to have this thing up on the web by tomorrow evening if I can swing it but I'm working with people I don't know with a video file I don't know anything about trying to get them to do something they are not familiar with.

I'm thinking this thing doesn't even have to air to get airplay.Remember the lamestream press was so outraged by the initial Swiftboat ads that they just had to play them over and over to demonstrate how terrible they were.My guess is parts of it will be apearing in news broadcasts across the country buy the end of the week.

I walked into Barnes & Noble on Astor Place in Greenwich Village today, which has got to be one of the country's top liberal HQs, and lo and behold there was a huge stack of "Unfit to Command" books front and center on the Bush-bashing table near the main door.

Somebody must have finally shamed them into putting this book where people could see it. Sure, there were 20 books attacking Bush for one attacking kerry. But it was a big step forward for B&N.

"Please remember the 58,000 + Names on the Wall on Nov 2"

I can't forget, I was there once back in 94 or 95. It was hard.

It just irks me to think John sKerry could go there after all he's said and done, to discredit and disrespect those Good Men.

UPDATE: The video will be available online by 5PM this evening. Joe Farah of WorldNetDaily contacted the video's producers and offered to host it and market it. He's certainly more capable of setting something like this up than I am. I'm glad I was able to discuss the idea with the producer before Farah called him. I think that I helped, in some way, to get this online.

Also, the producers have purchased air time on 2 Nevada stations to broadcast the video. There is some talk about broadcast by Sinclair outlets. We'll see.
