who Fetzer believes was the target of a White House plot."

Notice he didn't say, "target of a Clinton/Democratic plot".

Had he, you would never have seen or heard of this.

There's an excellent article online at:

http://news.minnesota.publicradio.org/features/2003/03/03_zdechlikm_wellstone/

regarding the circumstances of the crash.

Pilot error is highly likely, as well as a possible malfunction of the directional indicator at the airport (it's not back in use at the time this article was written) and icing conditions. Previous flyers had trouble with the airport equipment steering them off course 1.1 degrees, which is enough to miss the airport, not to mention the runway.

The pilot had done a previous flight, worked a shift as a nurse, and then done the Wellstone flight. Sounds like somebody who shouldn't be flying in bad weather, to me. Additionally, he apparently padded his flying resume.

Witnesses on the ground said that the plane's speed throttled down to near-stall for some unexplained reason as it approached. The plane had no black box. It is unknown if the de-icing equipment was working.

Lots of ingredients that could add up to a crash with no need to look for a conspiracy.

It's my opinion that the dems made such a hash of the funeral, and made such fools of themselves, that even at this late date they're trying to blame somebody else for something, anything, to get the stoopit grins off their stoopid faces.

Here's a link to a good write up of the accident by the AOPA. If either pilot would have been any good the accident wouldn't have happened.

Hate to mention his name... but my Moonbat Mother-in-law went to see Michael Moore over the weekend, and showed up to lunch babbling at my wife that the fat pig told everybody in the crowd that the Bush administration not only killed Wellstone, they were responsible for...

(Are you wearing your tinfoil hat everyone)

KILLING Christopher Reeves because of his too vocal support for stem cell research.

I will personally travel to wherever they plant that fat socialist piece of dung and urinate on his grave after he dies. Swear to it...

"Given the Republican Party's control of Congress, Fetzer acknowledged that his request "has more symbolic than practical significance."

It should say, "Given the idiocy and paranoia of this theory, it has more symbolic than practical significance."

Reeves was supposed to be on the plane but he missed the connection following his four hundred twenty-fifth appearance on Larry King Live.

Is this true - Moore actually publicly claimed the Bush admin killed Reeve and Wellstone? If that is true and on tape, someone needs to get it to Hannity or O'Reilly.

"... University of Minnesota Duluth Professor James Fetzer, a Kennedy assassination theorist, called on Congress Monday to investigate the death of Sen. Paul Wellstone, who Fetzer believes was the target of a White House plot."

I've said it before, and will say it again every time the issue is brought up:

Lee Harvey Oswald, a left-wing schizophrenic sociopath, murdered President John F. Kennedy with a surplus military rifle. He thought the whole plan up by himself on a moment's notice and pulled off the assassination with no outside help other than the fact that he was in a position of opportunity.

Anyone who seriously claims anything else but that fact is misinformed, or nuts, or possibly both.

Seriously, was Wellstone important enough to kill? I mean, even supposing, wouldn't they have taken out someone more important, like Gray Davis? Hillary? Dan Rather?
