I celebrate that God's will and purpose was done. I will dance in the streets for that! God does not instruct us to act any other way...

10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Your point???

I simply stated that I give God all of the glory and I celebrate because ALL things are accomplished in Him and through Him. Therefore, I celebrate the death of this baby-killer. When you give God the glory for ALL things, ones Christian walk becomes much nicer.

I certainly pray he repented in time.

Just because one goes to church doesn't mean you are good - just look at the National Council of Churches!

Haven't I read somewhere that the floor of hell is paved with the skulls of bishops? I wish I knew the quote.

Forgive my atheist ignorance, but if you're giving your god credit for ALL things, shouldn't got get credit for the abortions too? Isn't ALL, rather inclusive?

Each person can choose, go with God and his son Jesus Christ or go with the devil. God does not get credit for the devil's actions, the devil does.

...The moral authority of the True Religion is presently being mocked by barbarians, apostates, pagans, and worshippers of atan; and it is first of all because of the dearth of moral guidance, a lack of compass, by many of the chief shepherds of the flock of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Even Saint John Eudes tells us: 'The road to hell is paved with the skulls of bishops'. This is a take on Saint Athanasius' original statement: "The floor of hell is covered with the skulls of bishops." Both are a wake-up call to the bishops, priests and laity. Therefore let the shepherds beware. ...

From here...

All things work together for the glory of God. We may not understand certain things in our limited capabilities. God's word does not deny the evil in this world since it it composed of sinners (some saved by grace - some not).

I once heard, and I can't remember where, that the people we expect to see in heaven, won't be there, and vice versa.

I am a strong believer in deathbed conversions and it probably happens more than we think. There go I, but for the Grace of God.

It is that it is Gods will is that none should perish, "but that all should come to repentance."
Unfortunately it doesn't appear that this man did. My point was that, like The Pharisee, we should be careful when we assume that we are worth more than someone else. We are all sinners, undeserving of Gods gift of life.
I am happy that this man no longer kills children, I am sad because his eternal destination was hell. The old saying "..but for the Grace of God, there go I..." may fit here.

Much like a burglar who breaks into my home when my family and I are there; I will send him on his trip to eternity, but will be sad if his destination is hell.

Not meaning to be offensive, but trying to remember that without Gods Grace, any of us could have walked the same walk as he.

Regards,
GE

OK...I'll give it one last try....

I am celebrating that God's purpose and will was done. That is what we are supposed to do as Christians. I have never (read my past posts) elevated myself above any others. I am a sinner just like everyone else (in my case - saved by God's grace even though I am COMPLETELY undeserving). There is a chance that this baby-killer had a life-changing conversion on his death bed. If so, then he will see heaven. If not, then he is in hell. Either way, I celebrate God's divine purpose and direction.

I would disagree with you about the number of 'true' death bed conversions. There is a difference between saying a few words versus giving your heart and soul to God. If they do that, then they have salvation, otherwise they go to hell. I don't think that it is very wise for any of us to what until the end.
