I wondered if we were going to hear results from early voting. Isn't that kind of like announcing results before the polls close?

When did this early voting thing start, anyway? I don't like the smell of it...

Not all states have early voting (we do here in Florida). I like it because you vote at a central location where they have access to updated voter rolls, etc., so I think there is actually less possibility of fraud. However, the votes are not actually counted until Election Day (in Florida, at least), so I guess these surveys are based on exit polls.

Just exit polling.

I'm w/you, Prion, I don't like it either.

I know we're going to hear "convenience". Did these idiots think it was convenient for people in 1800 to walk across fields and single lousy rutted roads to go to polls? We're so spoiled now we have to make it as "easy" as could ever be possible - driving a car on nice roads and standing in a nice heated covered building ON A SINGLE ESTABLISHED DAY isn't easy enough?
