Also, the metro areas in Louisiana seem to lean democrat in this state due to the large percentages of minorities who tend to be democratic. If we could succeed New Orleans and Shreveport from the state, Louisiana would be the single most conservative state in the country.

Yeah..but don't forget..blanco was elected by an incredible coalition of blacks and bigots.. central and northern parishes that voted for david duke magically voted for blanco..I guess they were impressed with her position on child care leave..blanco even lost her own home parish..sadly Bobby Jindal was the wrong color for those backward voting inbreds in those parishes..
