When is Bush speaking at the Silverdome? Who is speaking with him? Will it be covered LIVE on C-SPAN? This appears to be the largest rally so far.
I dunno who will be there with him but the rally starts at 6:30 p.m. EST.
It's not listed on CSPAN's program guide.
Damn, I as hoping it would be during the day. Going to see Phantom tonight. Anyway, thank God for Tivo!!! I hope C-Span has it.

Bush is going to be in Grand Rapids this week per phone call form RNC.
Bush's internal polls must show Michigan close enough to justify the time and effort.
Not sure. He's in Saginaw tomorrow at 830am. My son's senior class is working the rally (Lutheran High School, not public school). Ann Coulter is in Saginaw tonight, and they are attending that too!
poster is referring to gigantic rally at Pontiac Silverdome TODAY that was rescheduled after the Detroit Pistons' stadium proved too small for the event (presumably that was to be THURSDAY when first contemplated)
I'm going to the rally. I'm told that W will speak around 6:15. No other speakers, just some music before hand.

I heard on the radio that michigan black clergy are going to endorse Bush here. Has anyone else heard this? If so this could be hugh for Bush.
the silverdome website says the rally starts @ 3pm. and he will be in Saginaw thursday 8:30am at the Dow event center(formally the saginaw county event center) with tight security.
The rally is at the Silverdome today. The doors open at 3 p.m., and everyone has to be inside by 5:15 p.m. YOU HAVE TO HAVE TICKETS to get in; tell me where you live and I'll tell you where the nearest place is to pick them up at.
Each person is allowed a maximum of four tickets, and they want to know the name, address and phone number of each person attending. Bring your ID with a picture (i.e., driver's license), because they'll check at the gate. Tickets are not transferrable.
(I've been giving to Bush-Cheney '04, the RNC and other Republican causes and did NOT get invited to this. I just found out by accident! I wish they'd do a better job of getting the message out.)
I picked up tickets yesterday from the office on Woodward & 13 Mile yesterday in Royal Oak. I asked for eight tickets and they wanted the names of everyone but I said I wasn't sure yet so they gave me the tickets anyway w\no problem.

I checked the C-span web site...they will be showing a Kerry rally today but no Bush rally. Surprised? NOT!!
That's great, ducman. With me, they asked me for names, and my cousin, who picked some up at another office, also had to provide names.
I still can't believe that the President is so close here in Michigan. I've never seen him in person before, so this should be great!!
I saw him once at the Waterford airport but the layout was so crowded and awkward I could only stand there and watch him on a little TV!!
The Silverdome should be awesome and I'm bringing my digital camera as it says I can so I hope the crowd will be HUGE !!

I was told 6:00 but yes, it is Eastern.
The rally was actually planned for Joe Louis Arena. It was never going to be at the Palace. The Palace's sound system isn't functioning.
DC Advance decided not to have it at the Joe because the Lodge is closed. There will not be 80,000 people at today's rally at the Silverdome and it was not the first choice or the optimum choice.
