Washington, DC—RNC Communications Director Jim Dyke made the following statement today:

"The Republican National Committee is proud of our historic effort that led to registering 3.4 million new voters. The Kerry-Edwards/DNC manual instructed Democrat operatives to allege intimidation even when none exists, so the Democrats’ attempt to characterize as intimidation our effort to educate newly registered Republicans, Democrats and Independents on important issues and engage them in the voting process comes as no surprise."
