WASHINGTON, October 28 (Itar-Tass) - U.S. Department of State has issued a new warning to the Americans staying or traveling in Russia about the remaining possibility of terrorist acts targeted at civilians.
A notification the DoS issued Wednesday night replaces a similar document dated September 3 and says the situation with possible terrorist activity in Russia is likely to remain unchanged for some time.
As the factors causing Washingtons concern, the notification names the recent bombings of Russian passenger jets, explosions at a bus stop and near Rizhskaya metro station in Moscow, as well as the September 1-3 hostage-taking in a general school in the North-Caucasian town of Beslan.
All those acts might have links to Chechen separatists, the DoS says.
It also mentions a new statement by Chechen warlords, where they threaten with more attacks at Russian and American interests, although it does not specify what particular statement the U.S. diplomats mean.

Unfortunate headline.
I'm thinking that olde differences are being pushed aside, replaced by better cooperation against the mutual terror enemies of both nations.
It should be part of new allignments, with mutual benefits.
Hopefully India would be aboard, for they have sizable muslim enemies.
The year 2000 DUI slime-bomb was dropped on Thursday November 2nd, 5 days before that election.
A Chechnya election on Sunday Aug 29th, with a Moscow-backed candidate in the lead, was preceeded by the downing of TWO Moscow-to-Chechnya commercial jets the THURSDAY before. A militant Muslim group claimed credit for the attacks.
One timing 'problem' for the democRAT slime-bombers... FREEPERS... Dan raTHer's slime-bomb backfired very quickly thanks to them. Any damage raTHer did to Bush in the polls was reversed within 24hours.
Many of the weekend talk shows are recorded Thursday or Friday. Newspaper articles for the weekend too. And it takes 24 hours for a slime-bomb to build up to fever pitch.
This has nothing to do with the OLD drug lord's empire?
How many people think the school at Beslan was a "MILITARY" school?
Almost ONE person?
Of course the terrorists will act against civilians.
Any American traveling abroad needs to be on the lookout for any suspicious activity.
Be especially careful of polite French people.
A sure sign of terrorists pretending to be French.
Chechen separatists? Try islamic terrorists from chechnya and often from other countries as well.
My husband has to go to Russia next year with his work for about 6-8 months. He'll be staying in Finland but traveling to Russia each day. Maybe they will cancel the trip. I'm not happy.
