Why is it that democrats who continually push for higher taxes use every trick in the book in getting out of paying the taxes...?

Because they can.
And even after they "close the loopholes" they'll find new ones since they are scum.
Why are they scum? Because if they really cared about taking on more of the tax burden to relieve the middle and lower class, they wouldn't jump through those loopholes as it is right now.
