Waaaaay more families signed this letter supportive of the president than those pathetic few who signed a letter supporting Kerry.
Of course, Old Media won't have time to report on this before the election.
Got to read this and distribute it widely.
That's a whole bunch of names. Take that, Jersey Girls.
BTTT...Bush is the ONLY viable alternative on the ballot to serve as Commander-in-Chief...MUD
You took the words right out of my mouth.
I'd like the see the MSM give as much time to this letter as they did to the few 9/11 families who are anti-Bush.
Ideally, it'd be great if Bush could incorporate these name into a TV ad.
Picture this. An announcer speaking of Pres Bush's fight against terrorism while the names scroll down the TV screen in whiote letters on a black background.
But then again, Pres Bush would probably be accused of "politicizing" 9/11 by a few families and their MSM syncophants.
I just fowarded the above letter to:
public@nytimes.com; managing-editor@nytimes.com; executive-editor@nytimes.com; NETAUDR@abc.com
with the statement:
You are always portraying the victims and the families of 9/11 as against the President. Care to show the other side of the story?
Thanks for posting the other side of 9/11 beside the lunatic left side.
A great read and something that is appropriate for your ping lists.
These people heard our prayers for them and their families.
God Bless Them.
Unfortunately Debra Burlingame has been trying to get her message out for months. She posted on swiftvets way back trying to get support for her group. At one time Burlingame was supposed to be on O'Reilly opposite Brietweiser but Brietweiser pulled out and begged O'Reilly not to have Burlingame on without her.
Some that caught my eye:
Nancy K. Nee Grieving sister of George C. Cain
Edward W. McGrain Uncle to the wife of Paul Tegtmeier Engine 4, FDNY, WTC
Brian Kevin Smith Son of murdered Firefighter Kevin J. Smith FDNY, Haz-Mat Company 1 North Tower, WTC
Ed Lamadore, friend of FDNY firefighters Ken Hatten, Ed Sweeney, Bill Burke, & Joe Spor who each lost sons in the WTC attack
David Huczko Brother of Port Authority Police Office Stephen Huczko, North Tower, WTC and brother of Richard Huczko, GE contractor, who was killed in Iraq 3/29/2004
That is just incredible! Did anyone count all those names?
I'm sorry but Kristen Breitweiser and the other 4 9/11 widows from NJ trumps all of these signatures according to the MSM.
Where is Lisa (Todd) Beamer's name?
Now THAT is an endorsement!
this is in rebuttal to the anti-Bush tear-jerking I caught a piece of on cspan yesterday?
pretty impressive list.
CBS and the NY Times were going to contact these people, but their basic policy is that if your name isn't "Breitwiser" then you should shut up.
Dear Mrs. Breitweiser ,
I'm sorry that you lost your husband on 9/11. September 11th was a tragic day for our country and, I'm certain, for you. My birthday is on September 11th and so, for the rest of my life, I will be remind each birthday of this horrible tragedy. Each American poured forth their heartfelt sympathies to you and all of the other families who lost loved ones.
However, there has been something that has been even more tragic. Your actions in the last 12 months have been nothing less than craven political hackery.
And, as a rightful rebuke, I would like to direct your attention to the families who know that President Bush has followed the right path, did what he could, and has acted superbly in fighting terrorism.
Note that these families aren't whoring themselves around television, ranting and raving how the President should have and could have done more. These families weren't entertaining lunatic conspiracy theories that imply "Bush knew", and other equally undignified actions which you have been more than comfortable with embracing. These families weren't openly complaining about not being able to get onto "Hardball" or "Meet the Press". Rather, these families, mourned and continue to mourn their loved ones and go about their lives.
These families aren't making inane statements like "We simply wanted to know why our husbands were killed. Why they went to work one day and didn't come back." Rather, these families KNOW why: because a group of murderous terrorists killed them! Period. These families also know that President Bush and our great military have been systematically destroying the organization that brought forth these murderous thugs.
These families aren't out making the scurilous charge that, "President Bush and his workers . . . were the individuals that failed my husband and the 3,000 people that day." Rather, as you can read with your own 2 eyes, the families of 9/11 say, "Under the Presidents strong leadership in the war on terror and through the heroic efforts of our military forces, we are a safer country today".
I am ashamed of you, your actions, and your organization (Jersey Girls).
Your 15 minutes are well up. I suggest that you start with a mental enema to wash out all of the Michael Moore-conspiracy crap that is floating around your head. Then, check what's left of your dignity in at the nearest church or synagoge. You have some serious searching to do, ma'am.
I wish you well and hope that, at some point in the future, you come to realize how you have spoiled your husband's memory for cheap political gain.
Truly,
Matthew Donovan
