When Bush talked about an "axis of evil," I wonder if he meant the active involvement of Satan.
Maybe somebody should do an exorcism of Saddam Hussein and then we could get some good information out of him.
Worth a try . . .
Read John Eldridge's books "Wild at Heart" and "Waking the Dead." Great books about the heart God created, Jesus freed and the battle that Satan wages on a daily basis to keep us from living our lives the way God intended.

LMAO!!!
I think I just found my new wallpaper.
Thank, NYer. Important piece.
There is nothing in the article about Sex/dancing/rock or Elvis
being of the devil. It does however state the progression
from drinking to drugs to seduction and premarital sex with
a member of a satanic cult can and does at times start at a
dance club,at least in Chile .The religion you ran from has a large book that describes
these type people possessed or at least living for or controlled by Satan or his demons.
Check it out. Its pretty cool, and covers many topics that are coming to the forefront these days.
PHAHAHAHAHAAHA!
Ha, Ha. Nice try, goofy.
I didn't say that I ran from my religion (I'm still a Christian who deeply believes in the unconditional love and power the Savior gives us when we accept Him), rather that I ran from MY old Church.
It is only A certain type of Church I oppose, the type characterized by a quickness to condemnation over trivial matter or matters of personal taste and liberty. The kind of church I fled was one characterized by an ignorant fear of outsiders (a unwed mother would have been ostracized by the bluenosed fools I used to sit beside in the pews of my local church), intense sexual repression (esp. painful during the years when I was coming into myself), and bitter hatred of any entertainment, beauty, or enjoyment experienced outside the confines of the church's moral dogma.
I'm not trying to judge Satanism one way or the either.
I'm saying that Satanism is entirely different than being possessed by a demon, which is the problem to which the exorcist applies his unique skills.
Ping!
I appreciate the heads up on this. Have felt a similar alert, warning for years. And increasingly so.
Thanks.
Unfortunately, the demented association promoted by the media between Halloween and vulgar occultism does seem to encourage demonic fascination for whatever reason. That it is the Eve of a Christian/Catholic holy day, one would never know from the advertising. Secularization and the decline of Christian influence does not exactly result in an outburst of rationalism and enthusiasm for modern science, as perhaps some liberal secular humanists had hoped.
We also have a staff member who is a practicing witch. Halloween is her holiday. Her office is appropriately decorated - bats, broomsticks, cobwebs, and all the other niceties of a coven. Once her holiday is over, the cubicle returns to her concept of normal - an electronic waterfall, and a CD relentlessly playing the sounds of chirping birds.
Other than that, she looks for all the world like any other person you would pass on the street.
A haiku:
I click on thread,
Aw jeez, not this shit again,
Entertaining though.
There are no Satanists. Just stupid, loser kids who think it's fun to pretend and like pissing off grownups.
My daughters, 6 and 9, have chosen to be St. Theresa of the Child Jesus and Joan of Arc for Halloween, I'm proud to say 8-). I expect the plastic-sword wielding boys to be chasing them around the neighborhood Halloween party tomorrow as usual, except this year Joan of Arc is armed...
No, I am in favor of freedom of religion, no matter how whacky a particular religion may be.
Not at all. My argument is that, in a free society, all religions are to be treated the same.
Satanism should be treated equally with other religions, is that what you are saying?
Yes. You do know that Satanists can, and have been, buried in Arlington Cemetary with a Satanic priest handling the funeral, right?
Legal does not automatically equal correct decision.
Gimme the good ole days when we could recognize good from evil.
