WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. - Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura is silent no more on why he's supporting Sen. John Kerry for president.

Unleashing a strong attack against President Bush, Ventura appeared at Century College, a community and technical college in White Bear Lake, to encourage young people to vote. He signed Kerry-Edwards posters but wouldn't answer questions from reporters.

What a t*rd....

Looks like he's going for the hippie look...yeah, freedom of speech, my a$$.

I cannot say enough what an embarrassment this guy has been for our state. What childish antics...totally unbecoming of any former 'dignitary'...

Maybe it's because of the likes of Jesse Ventura that Minnesota has a good chance of becoming Bush Country.

Why does everyone who has anything to do with Kerry look like they are sucking on lemons? Except for Therayzuh who is enjoying her raisins and their broth.

Jesse's head has been slammed into the mat way too many times. It's really starting to show as he gets older.

I have a question...

Does the Minnesota media actually think that this helps Kerry? Do they respect Ventura so long as he is anti-GOP?

Not sure what Kerry promised Ventura, but whatever it was it "dealed the Seal".

Ventura, one of the true mental midgets of our time. The more he campaigns for Kerry the more reminds the Minnesota voters what a horrible governor he was. Result: net gain for President Bush

I think Ventura is more of a curiosity now to the local media. They just want to see who among the 'media jackals' can make him talk first.

He's always been a leftist, despite his "independent" label.

Hey, cut Jesse some slack. He was a Navy Frogman in Vietnam and I'm sure he feels some compassion for the way Kerry treated his fellow veterans after his return.

Ventura also explained that he's sporting his new look - long
hair and a braided beard - to show freedom of choice and freedom of
speech.

Take it from this Minnesotan...

Having Ventura campaign for Kerry will not help him... People who voted for Ventura before (NOT ME), have said what a huge mistake it was

About the only thing good about him, was the lowering of the license tab fees, but he messed everything else up ---- but thankfully, we have Gov Pawlentry now !!!

I actually saw him a few times at Harvard but never bothered to go to any of his events... He had a beard then as well.
