Kerry 51 percent, Bush 48 percent, others 1 percent.

The polling data is very discouraging. Kerry will eke out a victory.

The debates were the cause of Kerry's comeback from the aftermath of the conventions. Bush simply blew the debates, and gave Kerry the opportunity to dispel the notion that he was a wild-eyed crazy man.

The situation in Ohio is very troubling. That's about all I can think about tonight.

Bush did battle back some from the debates, but thie "missing explosives" is their October surprise, and my gut feel is it's working. The poll results have been 24 - 48 hours behind events, if the story is working the weekend polls will be worse. I am really pessimistic right now. I can't see us winning any of the blue states, and the probability is we lose OH.

Kerry 51 percent, Bush 48 percent,

I tend to agree. The good news, however, is that I'm a horrible election predictor.
