I hope it is not. But, I am pretty sure it is.

is this the first time a body has been found in Tikrit? Its usually around the Baghdad suburb, Sunni triangle area I think. if this is true, something tells me zarqawi's crew has moved out of Fallujah.

Re-issue those Samurai swords to the Japanes troops in Iraq.

Then let them loose on the islamofacists there.

Show 'em how its done....

I'll assume he wasn't beheaded? Or maybe I'm reading too much into that they were able to determine it was an Asian body. Still, he was executed by these monsters and they must face a reckoning long overdue.

When he is captured, I vote for a public beheading of Zarqawi, with a butter knife, on video, however long it takes.

From the Guardian article:

The CNS report said the body was found with bullet wounds to the head and chest, Kyodo said.

Re #12

Hmmm... do they think that they can improve their image by shooting the hostage instead of beheading him?

Mr. Shosei Koda... prayers to his family, especially his mother.

That's a good question and I really don't know. I'm not sure who they'd be trying to improve their image for... if the beheadings weren't bringing in the jihadi recruits, I don't know if the firing squad will. I'm still wondering about the so-called Matt Maupin video and why they chose to shoot him instead of beheading him. An American soldier?

There is no deciphering their madness, I'm afraid.

These people are either insane terrorists or just base criminal thugs. So how do we make sense of this murder. Hmmm, if he was shot it must be by criminal thugs concerned only with money and not getting caught because terrorists would want to be on Al Jezeera. Now why isn't Michael Moore working to secure the release of these people?

Thank you very much for posting this and translating. I'm very upset he was killed. I'm impressed with the statement of the mother, the courage and the support of the Japanese in general.

Tikrit is still in the "Sunni trangle," though it is getting toward the north end.

Did this body have a head? Headless bodies are all the rage with terrorists these days.
