This bunker does have explosives in it and so what, ABC? Saddam had over 20,000 bunkers with ammo and explosives in them. Each crate that I saw weighed 40 lbs each and the barrels about 150 lbs each. There was about 200 crates and 50 barrels for a total of about 8 tons. Far less than 380 tons claimed missing. Can ABC verify that EOD didn't come in and get the explosives after they left? It seems ABC can't even verify where they were at. Their first statement was they were "next door".

Problem with the ABC video is...no chem suits. EVERY inspection of EVERY weapons bunker, early in the war, was done by guys in chem suits.

Another point: the special high explosives (RDX/HDX) were supposed to be locked behind IAEA seals. The fact that soldiers and reporters are walking around these things tells me that these were NOT behind such seals, and therefore were not the special explosives all the hubbub is about. So you have a report that does not show 380 tons (of anything), doesn't show an IAEA seal, and doesn't demonstrate presence of RDX/HDX. And this is reported as PROOF of 380 tons of HDX/RDX with an IAEA seal.

My take, is that they should have sent the tapes off to be authenticated as to location, etc. BEFORE they went on the air - that would have been the most responsible thing to do.

I don't see how anyone can actually say what those tapes show - barrels, large ones, small ones - could be any kind of explosive.

Location, not sure - maybe near the compound, maybe not.

Nothing definite on any salient point, but they put it out there anyway.

I think the video does show soldiers breaking seals (Locks) but there is no guarantee that the video is chronological or unedited. They could be two different places. Also I do not know if the locks shown in the video have some ID showing IEIAIAIAEIA or not.

Did you read the NY (Slimes) Times piece on the video over at the Drudge site?

They even have David Kay and othe rweapons experts touting that the video show the IAEA seals and that it is very likely the same site.

This whole episode with the MSM is just so disgusting.

On the second video put out by the TV station, the reporter who was on the scene said they NEVER entered a bunker that had been sealed by the IAEA. It even shows someone climbing up the side of the bunker and looking in and that supports his statement that the sealed bunker was NEVER entered as they just looked in through the ventilation shaft on the sealed bunker; therefore the photos could not have been taken in sealed bunkers.

ABC has been VERY DECEPTIVE, showing a bunker with a seal on it, and the soldiers and the news crew DID find and photograph and video that bunker on the outside, BUT THERE IS NO PICTURE OR VIDEO OF ANYONE BREAKING AN IAEA SEAL, JUST CUTTING THROUGH A LOCK AND SOME CHAINS BUT NOT THROUGH AN IAEA SEAL.

And the location has NEVER been verified.

"One weapons expert said the videotape and some of the agency's photographs of the HMX stockpiles "were such good matches it looked like they were taken by the same camera on the same day." - NYT

Very interesting line here, Were they? Are these part of the videos like unto the CBS/Burkett documents?

Also what kept Russians or Iraqis from counterfeiting UN seals to place on bunkers after they empty them to give the appearance of not having been tampered with?

Is there a way to verify the HMX seal numbers?

Video shows one bunker door sealed in Iraq
